History:
(X-Men II#100 (fb) - BTS) - Elysia and the Neo lived peacefully for years until the High Evolutionary, influenced by Mister Sinister switched off the X-gene in all of Earth's mutants, resulting in many Neo's death.

(X-Men II#106 (fb) - BTS) - Elysia could do nothing but watch as her friends and family died.

(X-Men II#101 - BTS) - Elysia and her twin brother Tartarus joined Domina and her Warclan in search of revenge against those responsible for their suffering and set her sights on the X-Men in the opening salvo of their war against humans and mutants. Elysia and the others took up residence in the St. Michael's Church Complex in Brooklyn, what was to become Domina's stronghold.

(X-Men II#101) - Elysia and Tartarus were sent to search the Church Complex for Nightcrawler and Cecilia Reyes. Reyes, responsible for killing Jaeger (albeit in self-defense), and the heavily injured Nightcrawler had hidden themselves in the Church Complex. However, during their search they stumbled upon druglord Rufus Delgado (hidden himself in the complex while on the run from Detective Charlotte Jones and X-Man Archangel) who immediately pulled a gun on the teenagers. Unimpressed by the danger facing them, Tartarus told the criminal he was standing on Neo ground and was trespassing on his own peril. Delgado, of course saw nothing more than two harmless teenagers and took Tartarus hostage after which he left, moments later Archangel, one of the X-Men arrived, on the look-out for Delgado. Seeing the "spike" Elysia was mesmerized by Archangel's beautiful wings, but seeing as Archangel's skin was blue just like Nightcrawler's she sent the X-Man in the wrong direction, right into one of her sensory illusions. In a matter of seconds, Elysia had created a false world in which Archangel's greatest desires and idea of paradise became a reality. While still standing in the same corridor Elysia encountered Detective Jones, searching for Delgado. But before Elysia could answer any of the Detective's questions she heard a scream and ran right into the false reality which Tartarus had created to trap Delgado.

(X-Men II#101 - BTS) - Tartarus' false reality of creating someone's greatest fear got scrambled when Detective Charlotte Jones entered. Jones then fell prey to druglord Delgado and the two merged into one hybrid winged creature causing Delgado to become the dominant one.

(X-Men II#106 (fb) - BTS) - The Warclan were shocked to find one of the Techheads brutally slain in the stronghold, a peculiar thing since the stronghold was on lockdown. Junction used her teleportation abilities to go and find Domina.

(X-Men II#106) - Junction returned with Domina to where one of the Techheads had been brutally killed, Elysia and several other Neo were present as well. Curious to see what had happened, Domina's brother Ransome Sole and young Rax (son of Jaeger) joined the group as well. Reasoning the killer had to be either Cecilia Reyes or Detective Charlotte Jones (still trapped inside the warehouse) Domina sent Rax to find and kill them. The Neo, however, were unaware Rax had enlisted the aid of the Delgado/Jones hybrid in taking Domina down.

(X-Men II#106 - BTS) - Sometime later that day inside the Church Complex, Elysia came across the Delgado/Jones hybrid. Eager to get his revenge on the twins who'd turned him into a monster the hybrid chased Elysia, determined to kill the teenager.

(X-Men II#106) - In her effort to escape the hybrid, Elysia accidentally ran into Nightcrawler and Wolverine of the X-Men, who'd returned to save Jones and Reyes. Even before Elysia could explain what was chasing her she was knocked unconscious with a bone-club by the hybrid. Nightcrawler and Wolverine tried to defend the unconscious girl but only managed to fend of the creature when Cecilia Reyes arrived who chased the hybrid away. Nightcrawler then quickly teleported them and Elysia to safety.

Now safely alone in another part of the Church Complex, Elysia quietly regained consciousness and witnessed Reyes suffering from withdrawal symptoms from the power-enhancing drug Rave she was using. And just as Reyes took another dose of Rave Elysia used her ability to create Reyes' greatest desire as she was swept up by large tubes of Rave pumping the drug directly into her system. Realizing Elysia was responsible, Wolverine quickly pulled his knives on the girl, threatening to kill her, Elysia then stopped the illusion. Confused by the situation she was in now, Elysia asked her "enemies" why they didn't kill her after which Nightcrawler revealed it wasn't them who'd decimated their numbers but the High Evolutionary under the influence of Mister Sinister. Although believing the truth herself Elysia was quick to note that their leader Domina wouldn't care anymore and had set out to get justice as she saw fit.

(X-Men II#106 - BTS) - Hoping she could make a difference Elysia decided to join the X-Men and convince Domina.

(X-Men II#106) - Elysia joined Wolverine and Nightcrawler as he teleported them back into Domina's domain, where moments earlier the remaining members of the X-Men had arrived to fight the Neo and save Jones and Reyes. Finally Elysia dared to stand up to Domina when she stabbed Wolverine and convinced her the X-Men were not their enemies. Though unconvinced, Domina allowed the X-Men to leave.

(X-Men: Earth's Mutant Heroes#1 - BTS) - Elysia and Tartarus of the Neo had created manifestations of the late Jaeger, Rax, Anteus and Salvo, and, joined by Junction went to San Francisco seeking revenge for their people's death on Genosha. Since most had been forced to serve in Magneto's army after which Cassandra Nova's Wild Sentinels attacked Genosha.

(Young X-Men#12) - Arriving at the Golden Gate Bridge the Neo were opposed by the Young X-Men. During the battle Elysia fought Anole.

(X-Men: Giant-Size#1 - BTS) - Because most Neo lost their powers after M-Day, no live Neo was born for over a year. When new mutants began surfacing, the Guardian Clan invaded Utopia to learn how mutants restarted their race, but the enigmatic Evolutionaries apparently disintegrated them and all other Neo worldwide to protect mutantkind.

The Neo received a profile in the X-Men - Earth's Mutant Heroes (2011). The Neo were a society of Homo sapiens superior, an evolutionary offshoot of humanity born with the mutant X-gene, which gave them superhuman abilities. The Neo lived in seclusion for many generations and believed they were superior to humans and other mutants.
