Powers/Abilities: The megalomaniacal Baron Strucker is a racist terrorist ready to engage in mass murder on a global scale. He is a technological genius, rebuilding his body to live longer. He has become reliant on an exoskeleton to facilitate movement for his frail body, as well as requiring a chemical-vitamin cocktail. As HYDRA leader, he was armed with personal weapons such as the blast-emitting Satan Claw glove, and directed weapons research and development, including the lethal Ragnarocket missile to deliver the Omega-Pulse, which would kill every human except those in his Vibranium-shielded island base. He demanded absolute loyalty from HYDRA agents, but his mania caused some agents to doubt him.

Height: 5'11" (by approximation)
Weight: Unrevealed
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Bald

History:

(Avengers United They Stand#2 (fb) - BTS) - Baron Strucker served as a German Nazi general in World War II. Aging, Strucker rebuilt his body to extend his lifespan and added an exoskeleton that gave him strength and enabled him to continue walking. At some point, he gained control of the terrorist organization HYDRA and advanced weaponry like the personal blast-emitting glove, the Satan Claw. He made plans for the complete extermination of homo sapiens to make way for "homo hydra" using the lethal Omega-Pulse launched from his Ragnarocket missile, set to save only those HYDRA agents on his base. Strucker became aware of a small number of renegade HYDRA agents against his plans, including the Black Widow. Meanwhile, Colonel Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. received a serious eye injury from HYDRA.

(Avengers United They Stand#2) - Inside the Vibranium-reinforced HYDRA base on Okami Island, Strucker (now aged 103) dealt with the traitorous Agent Fox 29, assigning Agent Tiger 7 to kill him in a trial by combat. Tiger 7 failed and Fox 29 punched Strucker, but the leader killed the renegade with the Satan Claw, although this exposed Strucker's frail body and mechanical exoskeleton. Meanwhile, Nick Fury called in the Avengers (Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Tigra, Wasp, Wonder Man), who linked up with turncoat agent the Black Widow to infiltrate the base. Intense fighting broke out and Strucker launched the Ragnarocket before the Avengers could reach him, claiming everything was going to plan and refusing to answer how to disarm the bomb. Enraged, Tigra ripped apart Strucker's exoskeleton while Wonder Man stopped the Ragnarocket. S.H.I.E.L.D. arrived to apprehend the villain and he was taken to a secure prison ward. Without his exoskeleton, he was bedridden on a vitamin and chemical cocktail he was already dependent on and was set to continue in this broken state for about two more decades due to his earlier body modifications.

Comments: Created by Ty Templeton, Eric Lewald, Jason Armstrong & Scott Koblish.

Strucker doesn't reveal what separated homo hydra from homo sapiens; it seems it would be from the 1,200 HYDRA agents protected from the lethal Omega-Pulse, but would there be any genetic difference as such? Hoping to lure in super-powered individuals, did he intend to use their DNA/skills/technology to mutate HYDRA agents?

Strucker's Satan Claw appeared to be deadly on the exposed chest of Agent Fox 29, but just stunned Hawkeye, likely indicative of the Avenger's armor.

It's unknown if Germany allowed him to retain citizenship given his Nazi past and overt terrorist links.

The island's name "Okami" usually translates to "wolf" in Japanese, so it's a safe bet that it's located in the (northwest) Pacific Ocean.

CLARIFICATIONS :
Baron Strucker of Earth-730834 has no known connections to:

Agent Fox 29

Agent Fox 29 resisted Baron Strucker's mad plan to wipe out humankind and was accused of treason. He chose trial by combat as a defense and pleaded with assembled fellow HYDRA agents to little effect. Fox 29 quickly disarmed his opponent, Agent Tiger 7, of his carbon whip and used that to bring down Strucker's floating platform. But Strucker used his deadly Satan Claw to blast Fox 29's exposed torso, killing the agent.

Agent Tiger 7

Baron Strucker chose loyal HYDRA Agent Tiger 7, an expert with the carbon whip, to engage in deadly trial by combat with Agent Fox 29, who had been accused of treason. However, Fox 29 deftly disarmed the larger Tiger 7, and Tiger 7 apparently fell to his death.

Ragnarocket

The Ragnarocket was the HYDRA-branded launch vehicle to send the Omega-Pulse weapon 50 miles into the atmosphere for detonation. The Avengers were too delayed battling HYDRA agents to stop Strucker launching it, but Wonder Man jumped and clung to its side. Unable to stop the missile, he instead ripped out its Omega-Pulse payload, dumping it into the ocean, thereby preventing the weapon's detonation. The damaged Ragnarocket missile then came apart and fell blazing into the sea.
