Powers/Abilities: Leviathan had no superhuman abilities, but he was in good physical shape. He was a highly intelligent manipulator with alleged degrees in theology and psychology, which he used to turn his followers into loyal fanatics, willing to sacrifice their lives to protect Leviathan if needed. He created a fake religion based on dark rituals and demonic entities, which he never believed in himself, as part of his anarchist cult leader persona. He was an expert pilot and trained in armed and unarmed combat utilizing numerous types of guns and blades. As a trained illusionist he often used those skills to escape capture or handcuffs. He often wore a costume made of bones, a skull masks and carried around trained living snakes, which he even used in combat as a last ditch effort. He specialized in stealing hi-tech secrets and technology. He had a weird obsession with lollipops, chewing on one almost all the time.

History:
(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#7 (fb) - BTS) - Not much is known about Leviathan's past, but the CIA picked up a few things about him over the years. Leviathan presumably possessed degrees in theology and psychology, was an expert pilot, an illusionist and had connection to the old KGB. He had few run-ins with the CIA.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#7 (fb) ) - Leviathan and the Coven attacked Rothermel Airbase to steal the B-2 Stealth Bomber, but an Air Force pilot managed to get to the B-2 and got it to safety. The Coven mercilessly butchered soldiers until they were driven back. Leviathan wasn't pleased.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#7 (fb) - BTS) - When Nick Fury, Al MacKenzie, Kate Neville and Alexander Pierce arrived at the Rothermel Airbase General Kurgen told them about the attack of Leviathan and his Coven. MacKenzie knew who Leviathan was.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#7 - BTS) - Major Bremmer worked undercover for Leviathan at Rothermel Airbase and convinced General Kurgen to put Fury and his allies under house arrest because they didn't possess the necessary security clearance to work for the military.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#7) - Disguised as soldiers Leviathan and the Coven returned to Rothermel Airbase in a military transporter as the alleged reinforcements called in for help. Bremmer made sure they were allowed to enter the Airbase and hoped Leviathan would remember what Bremmer did for him. Leviathan assured him he would remember a traitor like Bremmer. Leviathan and the Coven showed no mercy in their second attack on Rothermel Airbase. Leviathan made it to the B-2 Stealth Bomber and overpowered Nick Fury to board the plane, but before he could steal it Fury jumped from a truck driven by Kate Neville through the B-2 Stealth Bomber's front window to knock out Leviathan and stop the plane. He then knocked the lollipop out of Leviathan's mouth and arrested him. Leviathan was put on a transporter to the Vault prison and while nobody was looking he removed his handcuffs to get a lollipop before putting the handcuffs back on. As Fury suspected something about Leviathan getting caught that easily felt wrong.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8 (fb) - BTS) - Leviathan stole a file the CIA had on him from Jack Pincer's briefcase while Pincer made a deal with him. Leviathan asked for a box of lollipops in return for all the information Pincer wanted from him.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8) - Leviathan was interrogated by CIA's Jack Pincer, who was impressed how cooperative Leviathan was in return for a few lollipops. SHIELD consultant Al MacKenzie burst Pincer's bubble, telling him that Leviathan was just jerking him around. Pincer wasn't convinced yet because Leviathan was confirming everything they had on him on file. MacKenzie couldn't believe that Pincer would be so stupid to have the file with him while he struck the deal with Leviathan and when he opened Pincer's briefcase the file was gone. MacKenzie asked Leviathan to hand over the file and a rather amused Leviathan handed it over, revealing that he had just told Pincer whatever he had read inside the CIA's file on Leviathan. An angered Pincer took the file, asked Leviathan to return the box of lollipops, but allowed him to keep the one he was already chewing on (because it was too disgusting to take back). A Guardsman took Leviathan back to his cell, but Leviathan stalled midway and wouldn't get rid of his lollipops. Leviathan used two lollipops to blind the Guardsman by sticking them into his helmet's eye slids. After shooting aimlessly into the air for a few moments the Guardsman took off his helmet to get his hands on Leviathan, but Leviathan proved the superior hand-to-hand combatant and knocked him out. Leviathan stole the Guardsman armor, put it on and while all Guardsmen were sent out on escape patrol to find him Leviathan left the Vault among them to escape.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8 - BTS) - While Leviathan escaped Bremmer jumped bail. Nick Fury, Alexander Pierce and Network Nina went undercover on the plane Bremmer took in hopes he would lead them to Leviathan, but he caught wind of them and tried to escape in a stolen exoskeleton. Fury cut off his parachute and caused Bremmer to crash into the ocean.

Pincer later asked Nick Fury and his Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to work together with the CIA to get rid of Leviathan. Fury suspected Pincer only asked for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s help to bail out the CIA for their failure to keep Leviathan in custody and demanded to take command over the whole mission, but Pincer actually hoped S.H.I.E.L.D. would fail and tarnish their own reputation.

Meanwhile Leviathan met up with the members of the Coven.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8) - As a test of their faith Leviathan had the members of the Coven climb a mountain to reach him at the top for a ceremony. Leviathan put on quasi-ancestral garb to pose as a religious leader and couldn't hold back a laugh because he didn't believe any of the religious hogwash he was feeding to his Coven followers. When some of them noticed he told them he was laughing at those who would fall before them.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8 - BTS) - Leviathan and the Coven broke into the home of General Kurgen and attacked his wife and daughter.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8) - When Kurgen arrived home the Coven caught him in front of Leviathan, who kept up his religious leader spiel and blackmailed Kurgen by threatening his family, into handing over all his military secrets. Leviathan promised Kurgen and his friends would soon all be converted to Leviathan's cause.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8 - BTS) - Gabe Jones and Nick Fury received a call from the White House that Jack Kurgen was handing over military secrets to Leviathan. Fury was ready to get Leviathan for recruiting good guys into his "church".

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#9 (fb) - BTS) - Leviathan managed to get under the skin of several high-ranking members of the United States armed forces, who willingly gave him all the codes and clearances he needed to get whatever supplies and equipment he wanted.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#9) - Leviathan threatened the family of Major Terenzio to blackmail him into serving him. While giving one of his dark religious ramblings in front of the Coven and Terenzio at a warehouse filled with decommissioned missiles of the U.S. Army they were secretly watched by Nick Fury, Alexander Pierce and Kate Neville. Fury and his team confronted Leviathan while the scared Terenzio gave Leviathan the activation codes he asked for. Leviathan sent the Coven against Fury and his agents, who fell back after Fury grabbed Terenzio. Leviathan locked the warehouse, trapping Fury and his team inside with the Coven. Pierce managed to activate a missile to get them out of the warehouse while Fury and Neville held off the Coven. The rocket got them out, but trapped Leviathan and the Coven inside with the rocket's activated warhead. Leviathan ordered the Coven to protect him and they hurled themselves on to him to protect Leviathan from the deadly explosion. While Fury and his team left with Terenzio, who was sure Leviathan had survived and he needed to serve him, Fury wondered what sick game Leviathan was playing. Shortly after Leviathan crawled from the debris left behind by the exploded warehouse.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#9 - BTS) - Network Nina reported that Leviathan had survived the explosion. She had done some research on Leviathan, which revealed that if Leviathan had not been caught by Fury he would've crashed the B-2 Stealth Bomber to get caught anyway because he wanted to get near Pincer and the information he could get from the CIA. He also according to psychologist didn't believe in any of the religious stuff he used to keep his Coven and others in check, which didn't matter because his followers believed it anyway. He also somehow got under the skin of others with his psychological expertise to do his bidding. Nina suggested to find a symbol to snap the army members out of it. S.H.I.E.L.D. still didn't know what Leviathan's final goal was, but they managed to triangulate coordinates to where it all came together.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#9) - Leviathan listened to the Coven singing to their dark god Balberith, an entity Leviathan told them would grant them power in exchange for anarchy. A Coven member entered his office to tell Leviathan his presence was needed for the ceremony. Before readying himself for the ceremony Leviathan thought about all the information he gained from the military's new converts. Information that not only led him closer to the location of the treasure he sought, but also to the misshapen S.H.I.E.L.D. experiment known as Lump. He planned to get his hands on Lump to terrify the newly converted to keep them under his control.

Leviathan kidnapped Lump from S.H.I.E.L.D. Central and took him to the oil platform where the military men were working for him under the watchful eyes of armed Coven members. The newly converted were already in the process of turning against Leviathan because they stopped believing in his talks about demons and such, but then Leviathan present Lump to them, claiming it was one of those demons from the nether regions. He tossed Lump into the scared crowd and ordered them to keep working for him if they ever wanted to see their loved ones again. When Nick Fury and Captain America parachuted from an airplane nearby Leviathan ordered a member of the Coven to shoot them down from the sky because this was what their dark masters demanded.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#10) - Fury shot the Coven member, who tried to shoot him and Captain America down to Leviathan's surprise. Leviathan took a Coven members' binoculars to see Fury for himself, but was shot at by Fury from afar. Leviathan ordered the Coven to open fire on Fury and his ally, but both cut their parachutes and jumped into the water. Leviathan believed them to be dead and congratulated the Coven for their faith, which they still needed to instill in the newly converted. General Kurgen had enough of Leviathan's talk about the supernatural and not even Lump could convince him anymore that Leviathan had any powers. Because everything had failed Leviathan ordered the Coven to make an example of Kurgen by killing him. Fury saved Kurgen by breaking the arm of the Coven member, who was going to kill Kurgen. Leviathan told Fury about his dark powers, but Fury didn't believe any of it and introduced Captain America to Leviathan. Captain America gave a speech of his own, which convinced the converted military men to turn on Leviathan and the Coven. Leviathan mocked Fury and Captain America because they were only two against his Coven army, but when Pierce, MacKenzie and Neville joined the fight against the Coven as well he ran to activate a crane on the oil platform. The crane pulled the sunken Soviet "Mike" class submarine from the depths of the sea, which was Leviathan's target all along. Leviathan boarded the submarine followed by Fury, Captain America and Pierce. After a brutal fight Leviathan was defeated by Fury with a little aid from Captain America, who hit Leviathan with his shield when he was going to crush Fury with an unidentified machine. At the end Leviathan was scared for his life when Fury didn't stop beating him up. In prison Leviathan soon gained a religious cellmate, who he immediately tried to turn to his cause.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#20 (fb) - BTS) - Leviathan was broken out of custody by three Hydra agents working for the Red Skull (Johann Shmidt). Two prison guards were killed during the breakout.

Following his escape Leviathan smuggled an experimental device out of an unnamed top secret facility for Hydra.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#20) - On a yacht Leviathan readied the device for use in front of the impatient Hydra agents. He was distracted by the news of his prison escape while Rutger told him to hurry. Leviathan finished his work on the device and told the three Hydra agents they could only use the device once. As soon as they heard the device was ready Dieter exclaimed Leviathan's usefulness to them had ended. Leviathan realized he wasn't wanted anymore and left. Dieter saw him off and hoped they would meet again, but Leviathan replied that they wouldn't because they were already as good as dead.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#21 - BTS) - Dieter wondered if Leviathan would've given them the device if he had known that they were planning to use it to resurrect Baron Wolfgang von Strucker. Rutger saw no further concern because Leviathan was a mercenary and they had paid him. (The three agents ultimately sacrificed their own lives to resurrect Strucker)

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#30 - BTS) - Leviathan hacked through the comm-system of the phone company to government servers to steal Nick Fury's medical files and any available information on the Infinity Formula after his Coven had activated a virus to grant him private access and security codes through the phone company. Deathlok failed to stop the virus and got disconnected before he could track down the person stealing the information.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#30) - When his mobile base in the back of a truck was stopped by a police officer Leviathan ordered the Coven to take his badge, gun and uniform for the next step of his plan to steal Nick Fury's private stock of the Infinity Formula as soon as his computers had unlocked were Fury had it stored.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#30 - BTS) - A Coven member dressed as a police officer tricked Kate Neville to let him inside Fury's penthouse, then destroyed the security system before Neville could knock him out.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#30) - Leviathan entered Fury's penthouse with a group of Coven members. Neville opened fire on Leviathan, but the Coven members jumped in the way to protect their lord, giving Leviathan the opportunity to knock out Neville with a brutal flying kick. He was ready to execute her when Fury and Deathlok arrived. Leviathan mocked Fury because he had learned Fury needed another Infinity Formula injection with the next three days or else he would age five decades within three days. Leviathan shot at Fury and Deathlok with a bazooka, blowing up a portion of the penthouse, but they jumped to safety in the last second.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#31) - Unaware his enemy had survived the explosion Leviathan considered it a shame he wouldn't become witness of Fury dying from accelerated aging. Leviathan then ordered the surviving Coven members to find Fury's stash of the Infinity Formula. Leviathan watched as his underlings found a hidden safe behind the bathroom's medicine cabinet. They blew off the safe door and Leviathan finally had the Infinity Formula in his hands, which he still planned to sell to the highest bidder. Knowing he had succeeded where others like Baron Strucker and the Yellow Claw had failed he basked in his success in front of Neville and vowed to rename the Infinity Formula to Eternity Formula before selling it. He then ordered the Coven to toss Neville over the edge of the building. Fury saved her in mid-air and flew through the window with his Port-o-Glider to Leviathan's surprise. Leviathan called Fury soft because he didn't shoot to kill, but only to distract the Coven. Leviathan ordered the Coven to kill Fury, but he escaped with Neville. Leviathan stayed at Fury's apartment while members of the Coven tried to hack the S.H.I.E.L.D. files containing the information on Fury and the Infinity Formula. Other members of the Coven asked Leviathan if they could leave while they still could, but Leviathan didn't like the idea and ordered them to kill Fury when he returned, but Fury had tricked them by sending a decoy before attacking from behind. The decoy knocked down the Coven members while Fury managed to grab Leviathan in mid-flight. Without any conventional weapons left Leviathan tossed his snakes at Fury without any effect. Fury took Leviathan to the ledge of a nearby building while Deathlok blew up Leviathan's mobile computer complex. Leviathan threatened to destroy the last vial of the Infinity Formula, but Fury didn't care because nobody could live forever. Leviathan broke off a bone from his mask and threatened to stab Fury in the neck, but S.H.I.E.L.D. had arrived to come to Fury's aid. Leviathan surrendered.

(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#10 (fb) - BTS) - Leviathan helped supply Dmitri Petrovich and his Genesis Coalition with stolen Hydra technology.

Knowing of Leviathan's past dealings with Petrovich and Hydra Silver Sable, who sought information on the whereabouts of the Genesis Coalition and her father, tracked Leviathan down and surveilled the Brooklyn Harbor for weeks.

(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#10) - Late at night Leviathan arrived on a boat at the Brooklyn Harbor for a meeting with Furman's minions to receive the money for the four tons of pure cocaine Leviathan and his Coven had smuggled to the US. He considered the smuggling business beneath him and wasn't pleased he had to be present to receive the money and that his Coven couldn't convince Furman's men to meet somewhere else where the air didn't smell of sewage. Upon boarding a larger ship for the meeting with Furman's men the deal went south when the Punisher attacked. While the Coven members protected Leviathan with their lives from the Punisher, Silver Sable joined the battle against the Coven despite her anger at the Punisher ruining all her work. When the Punisher tried to kill Leviathan Silver Sable shattered the Punisher's sight with one of her chai, giving Leviathan a chance to escape the ship alive.

Leviathan and a Coven member escaped on a motorboat to Leviathan's ship in the Atlantic Ocean. Leviathan was angry that they had lost the drugs and the money and ordered a Coven member to make sure Furman's men took the blame and insist on payment from Furman or else flay his skin from his back. Silver Sable and Punisher arrived shortly after Leviathan in Silver Sable's jet and were immediately swarmed by the Coven while Leviathan fled to the lower deck. Silver Sable tackled Leviathan on the stairs to the lower deck and threatened to kill him, but Leviathan knew she wouldn't because she thought he had valuable information for her. He made a deal with her to tell her what he knew in return for her protection against the Punisher. Leviathan also told her she could've just bought the information from him without the bloodshed. Silver Sable promised to protect Leviathan if she like the information he gave to her. Leviathan revealed that Ivan Trefkov, the alleged murderer of Silver's father, had conned some of Hydra's factions into forming the Genesis Coalition and now planned to attack several Eastern European countries previously liberated by Silver Sable. Leviathan had never heard anything about Ernst Sablinova. The Punisher arrived and tried to kill Leviathan, but Silver Sable protected him as promised. Leviathan managed to escape once again thanks to Silver Sable.

It wouldn't surprise me if Furman, who sent his underlings to buy drugs from Leviathan in Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#11, was actually the same as Richard Furman from Daredevil Annual I#7 as both stories were written by Gregory Wright.

Leviathan's eye color switched constantly. Sometimes in one issue from red to gray and then blue. An issue later it was green, the next issue it was blue and so on and so on. Blue ended up being the most commonly used eye color for him.

Coven

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#7 (fb) ) - The Coven parachuted into Rothermel Airbase in an attempt to steal a version of the B-2 Stealth Bomber. They butchered soldiers left and right, but didn't manage to get to the plane, which was taken to safety by a pilot. The Coven was then driven back by the military.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#7) - Major Bremmer, who wanted to join Leviathan's Coven, betrayed the military and made sure the Coven and Leviathan, posing as reinforcements sent by the military, were allowed to enter the Airbase. Once again they showed no mercy to the soldiers, but were ultimately defeated with the help of Nick Fury, Al MacKenzie, Kate Neville and Alexander Pierce.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8) - After his escape from the Vault Leviathan reunited with the Coven and tricked them to believe in dark forces and a false religion. He made them go through a ritual that forced them to climb a mountain to reach their leader and allegedly claim unnatural powers. They didn't question him and his false ceremony and gladly followed him even when he openly laughed at how easily they could be manipulated, which he explained away by telling them he was laughing at those who would soon fall before them.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8 - BTS) - Leviathan and the Coven broke into General Kurgen's home and attacked his wife and daughter.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#8) - When Kurgen arrived at home he was caught by Coven members in front of Leviathan, who threatened Kurgen's family to blackmail him into serving Leviathan's cause.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#9) - In a warehouse filled with decommissioned weapons Leviathan threatened the family of Major Terenzio to force him to serve. Leviathan gave one of his dark, religious speeches in front of the Coven when they were surprised by Nick Fury, Kate Neville and Alexander Pierce. The Coven attacked them and protected Leviathan with their bodies when Pierce activated a missile to launch directly in Leviathan's direction. The missile not only caused an opening for Fury, Neville and Pierce to escape, but also blew up the warehouse. Leviathan survived due to the Coven members' bodies blocking him from the impact of the explosion.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#9 - BTS) - Leviathan and the Coven kept blackmailing high ranking military personnel to gain access to all the supplies and equipment Leviathan needed.

Leviathan heard the Coven singing to their dark god Balberith, an entity Leviathan told them would grant them power in exchange for anarchy. He then oversaw a ceremony of the Coven.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#9) - Some members of the Coven joined Leviathan in the kidnapping of the alien Lump from S.H.I.E.L.D. Central. Armed Coven members oversaw newly converted military personal on an oil platform working for Leviathan, who instilled them with fear when he showed them Lump and told them about the boy's alleged demonic origins. When Nick Fury and Captain America parachuted down to the oil platform Leviathan told a Coven member, who asked Leviathan to unleash the spirit of evil on them, to kill them for Leviathan and their dark master because it was what those they served would want to.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#10) - The Coven member was shot by Fury before he could shoot him with the cannon he was aiming at Fury. Leviathan ordered other Coven members to return fire at Fury when he was nearly shot by him, but Fury and Captain America dove into the sea before they were hit. Once again Leviathan believed his enemies were dead and complimented the Coven for it, but General Kurgen had enough of Leviathan's ramblings and turned on him. Leviathan ordered his execution as an example, but before a Coven member could cut his throat with a knife Kurgen was saved by Fury, who broke the Coven member's arm. When Captain America joined the scene the military personnel were inspired by him to fight Leviathan and the Coven while Leviathan activated a crane for the final stage of his plan. The Coven were defeated and Network Nina used her psychic powers on a Coven member to find out that Leviathan had been after a Russian submarine with experimental equipment the whole time. Fury caught Leviathan.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#30) - Members of the Coven took hostages at the phone company. They killed them even before the government refused to meet their demands and infected the communications computer with a virus. Nick Fury attacked them and was surprised, upon recognizing them as Coven members, that they would target the phone company. He informed the local authorities about the hostages' death and called in Deathlok to deal with the virus while taking out the remaining Coven members with non-lethal S.H.I.E.L.D.-issued neuro-snap bullets. One last remaining Coven member tried to surprise attack Fury, but he was already expecting his attack, but when the Coven member was unable to defeat him he targeted Deathlok, who had already failed to stop the virus from activating. Fury severed Deathlok's connection to the computer to save him from the attacking Coven member. Unfortunately Deathlok lost any any chance at tracking down the person responsible for hacking into the system and stealing all the data after the virus' activation. The Coven member accidentally died when he got electrocuted upon driving his blade into a PC.

Leviathan's mobile base hidden in the back of a truck was stopped by a police officer. He was overpowered by members of the Coven and had his badge, gun and uniform stolen to start the next step of Leviathan's plan to steal Fury's private stock of the Infinity Formula and sell it to the highest bidder.

Despite Nick Fury's warnings that Leviathan would be arriving shortly at his penthouse Kate Neville didn't think twice to open the door when a police officer knocked. The police officer, secretly a Coven member, destroyed the security system shown to him by Neville by shooting it. Neville knocked him out, but it was too late to prevent Leviathan and more Coven members to storm the penthouse. While the Coven sacrificed their lives to shield Leviathan from Neville's bullets it gave him the opportunity to knock her out with a brutal flying kick.

(Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. II#31) - Leviathan ordered the surviving Coven members to search for Fury's stash of the Infinity Formula in the penthouse and they found it in a safe hidden behind the bathroom's medicine cabinet. While some members were still trying to hack the stolen S.H.I.E.L.D. files on the Infinity Formula in Leviathan's mobile computer complex other Coven members discussed leaving Fury's penthouse while they still could. When one of them approached Leviathan about leaving he got mad at him. When Fury apparently returned Leviathan ordered the Coven to kill him, but the flying figure was only a decoy sent in to knock out the Coven member and give Fury himself an opening to fly in from behind to take Leviathan to a nearby building. Meanwhile Deathlok overpowered the Coven members at the computer complex. To his surprise they had just managed to break to code on the Infinity Formula file. Deathlok blew up the computer complex before they could use any of the information they had acquired.

(Silver Sable and the Wild Pack#10) - Robed Coven members moved around crates filled with cocaine on a ship in the Brooklyn Harbor. Leviathan was taken to the ship on a motorboat by another Coven member and wasn't pleased with the rendezvous point, but unfortunately his Coven couldn't convince Furman's men to meet somewhere else. The meeting between Leviathan and the Coven on one side and Furman's underlings on the other side was interrupted by the Punisher, who showed no mercy to either side. Coven members sacrificed their lives to give Leviathan an opening to escape. Silver Sable, who sought information from Leviathan, joined the fight and took out more Coven members, but protected Leviathan from getting shot by the Punisher. Leviathan escaped on his motorboat with his driver to his ship in the Atlantic Ocean, which the Punisher learned about after interrogating a surviving Coven member. Silver Sable and the Punisher pursued Leviathan to his ship and took out more Coven members, but Leviathan escaped once again when Silver Sable protected him from the Punisher in return for information on the Genesis Coalition.
