formerly Gold Rush (Mike Swift)

Purpose: To commit high-velocity crimes

Affiliations: Baron Zemo (Helmut Zemo)

(Avril Kincaid, Wendell Vaughn), Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Tigra (Greer Nelson), Valkyrie (Jane Foster)

Base of Operations: New York City

First Appearance: Captain America and the Mighty Avengers#2 (January, 2015)

History:
(Captain America and the Mighty Avengers#2) - Blue Streak formed a team of criminals, outfitted them with roller-bladed power suits like his own, and dubbed them the Fast Five. They committed a high-speed robbery that netted them several large bags of cash, but as they escaped, they ran afoul of Spectrum, who had foiled Blue Streak before. They split up, only to run afoul of Spectrum's Mighty Avengers teammates. Silver Ghost evaded Spectrum initially, but was eventually tricked by her image-distortion abilities. Blue Streak had his armor shredded by White Tiger, Gold Rush surrendered to Power Man, Redline was banished to the Purple Dimension by Kaluu, and Green Light blinded She-Hulk and Blue Marvel, but the latter still blasted her.

(Captain America: Sam Wilson#8 (fb)) - After they were arrested, the Fast Five were transported to Pleasant Hill, a SHIELD prison where super villains were transformed by Kobik, a sentient Cosmic Cube, into innocuous civilians and used to populate an idyllic small town; the Five were transformed into skateboarding kids.

(Captain America: Sam Wilson#8) - Reverted to their original forms by Baron Zemo, the Fast Five began looting the town museum as they prepared to escape. They were discovered by SHIELD Agent Avril Kincaid, who defeated Gold Rush, Green Light, Redline, and Silver Ghost, as they were stuck in close quarters and unable to reach full speed. Blue Streak got the drop on her, but SHIELD Agent Wendell Vaughn, masquerading as the town librarian, hit him over the head with a book before he could seriously hurt her.

(Valkyrie: Jane Foster#1) - In the wake of the War of the Realms the Fast Five attacked a Damage Control truck to steal left behind Asgardian weapons for clout on the Internet. Valkyrie (Jane Foster) stopped them and they were arrested (except for Gold Rush).

(Amazing Spider-Man V#37) - The Fast Five robbed a bank, but were stopped by Spider-Man.

(Marvel's Voices: Legacy I#1/2) - The Fast Five (actually four at this point) tried to rob the 1st Secure Bank of America, but Ironheart stopped them.

(Marvel's Voices: Pride I#1) - The Fast Five broke into an abandoned Mutant Growth Hormone lab in New York formerly run by Wilson Fisk to steal the M.G.H. stash. They encountered Daredevil (Elektra) and Dr. Charlene McGowan. The latter told them that they place had already been cleaned out, but Blue Streak ignored her and told his teammates to find what they were looking for while he dealt with Daredevil (Elektra). McGowan mixed some industrial-grade detergent, poured it on the floor and the wheels of the Fast Five seized up. Daredevil left them tied up at the lab.

(Moon Knight IX#22) - Hawkeye and Tigra beat up the Fast Five after they committed a crime.

Gold Rush

(Mike Swift)

Gold Rush wore an armored suit equipped with jet-propelled rocket skates; whether it had any special abilities like the other members of the Fast Five is unrevealed.

(Captain America and the Mighty Avengers#2) - With the rest of the high-speed Fast Five, Gold Rush committed a robbery that netted them several large bags of cash. When the heroine Spectrum confronted them, they split up; Gold Rush accompanied Blue Streak, but they were being tracked by Spectrum's Mighty Avengers teammates White Tiger and Power Man. Seeing the White Tiger shred Blue Streak's armor, Gold Rush willingly surrendered to Power Man.

(Captain America: Sam Wilson#8 (fb)) - After they were arrested, Gold Rush and the Fast Five were transported to Pleasant Hill, a SHIELD prison where super villains were transformed by Kobik, a sentient Cosmic Cube, into innocuous civilians and used to populate an idyllic small town; the Five were transformed into skateboarding kids.

(Captain America: Sam Wilson#8) - Reverted to their original forms by Baron Zemo, Gold Rush and the Fast Five began looting the town museum as they prepared to escape. They were discovered by SHIELD Agent Avril Kincaid, who defeated Gold Rush, Green Light, Redline, and Silver Ghost, as they were stuck in close quarters and unable to reach full speed.

(Valkyrie: Jane Foster#1) - In the wake of the War of the Realms the Fast Five attacked a Damage Control truck to steal left behind Asgardian weapons for clout on the Internet. Valkyrie interrupted the robbery. Gold Rush escaped into an alley with Dragonfang while Valkyrie was distracted by Redline. He was tripped by Bullseye, who then took Dragonfang and stabbed Gold Rush through the chest.

His corpse was later found in the alley and ended up in the morgue at the McCarthy Medical Institute where Jane Foster had just been demoted to become Dr. Rudy Gillespie's morgue assistant. Foster recognized the sword wound immediately.

Green Light

(Janine)

Green Light wore an armored suit equipped with jet-propelled rocket skates; it also incorporated a powerful strobe light that could blind her foes.

(Captain America and the Mighty Avengers#2) - With the rest of the high-speed Fast Five, Green Light committed a robbery that netted them several large bags of cash. When the heroine Spectrum confronted them, they split up; Gold Rush fled down an alley, where she ran into She-Hulk and Blue Marvel. She pretended to surrender, only to blind the both of them with her strobe. She fled, but the blinded Blue Marvel could still hear her skates, and blasted her into submission.

(Captain America: Sam Wilson#8 (fb)) - After they were arrested, Green Light and the Fast Five were transported to Pleasant Hill, a SHIELD prison where super villains were transformed by Kobik, a sentient Cosmic Cube, into innocuous civilians and used to populate an idyllic small town; the Five were transformed into skateboarding kids.

Redline

(Randy)

Redline wore a heavily-armored suit equipped with jet-propelled rocket skates; its speed was augmented with a massive back-mounted booster. In addition he apparently possessed superhuman strength.

(Captain America and the Mighty Avengers#2) - With the rest of the high-speed Fast Five, the single-minded Redline committed a robbery that netted them several large bags of cash. When the heroine Spectrum confronted them, they split up; Redline plowed through a building where he found Kaluu. Bored, Kaluu transported Redline, minus his armor, to the Purple Dimension.

(Captain America: Sam Wilson#8 (fb)) - After they were arrested, Redline and the Fast Five were transported to Pleasant Hill, a SHIELD prison where super villains were transformed by Kobik, a sentient Cosmic Cube, into innocuous civilians and used to populate an idyllic small town; the Five were transformed into skateboarding kids.

McGowan mixed some industrial-grade detergent, poured it on the floor and the wheels of the Fast Five seized up. Daredevil left them tied up at the lab. Overhearing McGowan tell Elektra that she was trans, Redline asked McGowan if she knew his trans cousin, who was known as @GENDERAMA!!!1989 on social media. McGowan was kind of offended, but actually contacted Redline's cousin later. Redline's cousin told her that Redline was named Rudy and was a total loser.
