History
(
Wolverine: Weapon X#11 (fb) - BTS) - Wendell Bryant went on a date with Amy, presumably at Julio's Bar & Grill. Nervous and trying to relax, he ordered some jello shots.

(Wolverine: Weapon X#11) - Soon after, Wendell was puking just outside Julio's; Amy sympathetically rubbed his back. As he voiced his regret in ordering the jello shots, Amy told him that it was OK, but she rolled her eyes.

He apologized, explaining why he got the shots, and asked her if this wasn't the worst first date ever, and then asked if they could just start over and try again. bryant_wendell-shot.jpgAs Amy started to politely decline, they were interrupted by a Deathlok from some 25 years into the future of Reality-10511. When Deathlok asked if they were the parents of Todd Bryant, the super-powered vigilante known as Buzzsaw, Wendell noted that they didn't have children and that this was their first date; Amy added, "No way am I ever sleeping with this guy."

Deathlok then related how (in his timeline's past, though he didn't note this) in six months, they would be married at the Bryant family resort in Tahiti, French Polynesia, and that their son Todd, would be born 3 months later.

Amy was excited to hear Wendell's family owned a resort in Tahiti, which she loved and had always dreamed --

Noting their identies had been confirmed, Deathlok fired four shots from his handgun, and leaving Wendell and Amy to die in a pool of blood.

Comments: Created by Created by Jason Aaron and Ron Garney.

Based on Todd being born 9 months after their first date in Reality-10511, it would seem that either Wendell made a better first impression (perhaps not doing the shots; or maybe Amy did shots and got wasted, too), or something happened to change her impression of him; maybe it was the mention of his parent's resort in Tahiti. The world may never know.

Altering the past typically diverges an alternate reality rather than changing the present, but there are certainly multiple sets of circumstances in which realities are indeed altered by affecting their pasts. Obviously events of Reality-616 differed significantly from those of Reality-10511, and so 10511 is not the future of -616, but perhaps some reality merging was arranged, or something akin to the Doomlocks was used. Who knows? Most writers write future reality stories as if that future is indeed the future of -616/Prime Earth; maybe it doesn't hold up later, but, what's the difference, it was fun anyway!

bryant_wendell-amy.jpgAmy

Nothing else is known about Amy than she went on a date with Wendell Bryant, who ended up turning her off by ordering some shots in them puking outside the restaurant. Though she sympathetically rubbed his back and told him it was alright, when he asked her if they could start over, she told him, "...you seem like a nice guy and all, but..."

    She was cut off
by a Deathlok from some 25 years into the future of Reality-10511. When Deathlok asked if they were the parents of Todd Bryant, the super-powered vigilante known as Buzzsaw, Todd noted that this was their first date, Amy added, "No way am I ever sleeping with this guy."

Note: Amy is the woman pictured in the three images above that are not just a close-up of Wendell's puke face.

Mr. and Mrs. Bryant

Wendell's parents have a resort in Tahiti.

Their son, Wendell, was slain by
a Deathlok from some 25 years into the future of Reality-10511 to prevent him from having a son, Todd, who grew up to be an opponent of Deathlok's Roxxon masters in Reality-10511.

Wolverine: Weapon X#11
Wendell & Amy Bryant of Reality-10511

Six months after their first date, they were married at the Bryant family resort in Tahiti, French Polynesia, and their son Todd, was born 3 months later.

Todd grew up to become Buzzsaw,
an opponent of Roxxon

(Wolverine: Weapon X#15 (fb)) <Reality-10511> - Roxxon sent their Deathloks through a temporal portal, 20-25 years in the relative past of Reality-616, where they were to neutralize all superhumans that might be a threat to them in the future; Buzzsaw was among those superhumans.

(Wolverine: Weapon X#11 - BTS) <As appeared to be the case with many other past counterparts> - When Wendell Bryant and Amy were slain by a Deathlok, their Reality-10511 counterparts, if they had survived to that point, presumably vanished as well.

--(mentioned only) Wolverine: Weapon X#11

Note: Wendell and Amy of Reality-10511 were not seen on panel.

Amy was obviously pregnant at the time of their marriage, and Todd was likely conceived on Wendell and Amy's first date.

Buzzsaw of Reality-10511

The son of Amy and Wendell Bryant, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bryant, Todd Bryant was born three months after his parent's marriage, and apparently six months after their first date, most likley indicating he was conceived on that date or soon after.

Todd grew up to become Buzzsaw, an opponent of Roxxon

(Wolverine: Weapon X#15 (fb)) <Reality-10511> - Roxxon sent their Deathloks through a temporal portal, 20-25 years in the relative past of Reality-616, where they were to neutralize all superhumans that might be a threat to them in the future; Buzzsaw was among those superhumans.

(Wolverine: Weapon X#11 - BTS) <As appeared to be the case with many other past counterparts> - When Wendell Bryant and Amy were slain by a Deathlok, their Reality-10511 counterparts' son, Buzzsaw (Todd Bryant), if they had survived to that point, presumably vanished as well.

--Wolverine: Weapon X#11

Note: Buzzsaw of Reality-10511 were not seen on panel.

All we can surmise from Buzzsaw is that he likely had some natural or artificial saw-like ability, and that he was considered a sufficient threat to Roxxon for them to arrange his termination/negation.
