Powers/Abilities: Poser had the mutant ability to duplicate the powers of any other mutant she came into contact with. She was able to store the mutants' gifts and could draw upon them at any given moment. Though untrained in the use of these abilities, she was seemingly able to wield them proficiently with greater control than the one she posed as (see comments).

History: (Wolverine II#900/3 (fb) - BTS) - Through unrevealed circumstances and at an unrevealed point in time, the mutant who would become known as Poser found her way to the Morlocks, an underground mutant community that lived in the sewer tunnels of New York. During her times with the Morlocks, she was given the name "the Poser" by some of the children because of her powers.
(Wolverine II#900/3 (fb)) - Through unrevealed ways, three off-line Sentinels were suddenly powered up. Returning to their original prime directive of hunting and eliminating mutants, they headed straight for the Morlock tunnels. Luckily, the X-Men gained early intel on the situation and arrived to rescue the Morlocks. Poser was targeted by one of the Sentinels, who was scared stiff. Her fellow Morlock Carapace tried to save her, pushing her out of harm's way, only to end up badly hurt with a piece of shrapnel stuck in her chest. The Beast and Wolverine got separated from the X-Men in their attempt to save Poser, Carapace and the small group of Morlocks they were with.
(Wolverine II#900/3 (fb)) - On the run from the Sentinels, the group was caught in a small cavern after the tunnels collapsed around them. Now stuck in the cavern, Beast decided to operate on Carapace to make sure she survived the experience. Poser was asked to channel Leech's powers, a Morlock with the ability to cancel out mutant powers. Due to this, the Beast could get through Carapace's hard shell and operate on her. The surgery went well and not too long after that, Marrow rescued Poser and the others when she extended her bone growths into the rubble and blasted it apart. Now free, Poser and the other Morlocks went their own way.

Poser potentially is one of the most powerful mutants in the world, able to channel the powers of anyone she's ever come into contact with. She even seems able to instictively control these abilities at a greater level. For instance, whenever Leech is around everyone is rendered powerless but when Poser mimicked his powers, she was somehow able to merely negate Carapace's mutant powers sparing the Beast, who was operating on Carapace.
According to the issue, the story takes place after the events of X-Men II#75.
The X-Men team seen fighting the Sentinels consisted of Cyclops, Beast, Wolverine and Archangel.
