Powers/Abilities: "Mole" had the mutant ability to
listen in on others thousands of miles away from him. He was able to
reproduce whatever sounds or conversations he picked up, making him a
living wiretap of sorts. "Mole" had unusually large, oval shaped ears
and an exaggerated mouth.

History: (Generation X I#11 (fb) - BTS) - Through unrevealed ways,
the mutant "Mole" encountered the bone marrow hungry Emplate. He was fed
on by Emplate and joined him as his accomplice. "Mole" arrived at Gayle
Edgerton's estate which Emplate was temporarily using as his base on
Earth.
(Generation X I#11) - Emplate relied on "Mole" to keep him apprised of
Generation X's activities. He frequently listened in on the team at the
Massachusetts Academy while formulating a plan to recapture Penance. One
night, just as the final members of his "Hellions" arrived, Emplate
picked up on the fact Generation X was finally back at the Academy and
completely unprepared for his attack. While "Mole" replayed a pillow
fight the Gen X'ers were having an ocean away, Emplate told his
assistant D.O.A. that the time for action was now.

Considering he was never named on panel, I'd like to offer the codename
"Mole" for this unidentified member of Emplate's "Hellions" (the group was
never named "Hellions on panel). For one thing, his small stature,
glasses and tasteful smoking jacket are reminiscent of the Hanna Barbera
character Morocco
Mole and his powers allow him to act like a snooping mole as
well.
