History:
(New Mutants II#7 - BTS) - After manifesting his powers, Gelatin enrolled at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
(New Mutants II#7) - Gelatin was seen walking the Institute's corridors when fellow student Anole tried to get the attention of his teacher Xi'an Coy Manh (Karma). The next day Gelatin and a friend were walking through the hallways with a friend when Josh was on his way to send a letter to his parents.
(New Mutants II#8) - During Parents Week at Xavier's, Gelatin was seen hugging a woman (presumably his mother). The next morning he walked the grounds with two friends just as Sofia was visited by her father.
(New Mutants II#9) - After classes, Gelatin was seen in the hallways. He then made his way to the cafeteria for lunch, where he had fun with his fellow classmates. That very night he was seen again walking through the hallways when Josh and David left their dorm to follow Rahne Sinclair.
(New Mutants II#10) - Gelatin was seen hugging a fellow student when Laurie and Sofia talked about Laurie's crush on Josh.
(New Mutants II#13) - After Xorn, posing as Magneto, had destroyed Xavier's (as seen in New X-Men I#146) all students, including Gelatin had been relocated to a safehouse in Salem Center. In the midst of the students and their sleeping bags Gelatin was reading a book.
