History: (Inhumans IV#3) - As a member of the Shi'ar elite corps, Delphos went into combat against the natives of an unnamed moon which the Shi'ar wished to acquire so that it could be colonized by the Spartoi. Alongside her were Karnak and Triton of the Inhumans, both masquerading as extraterrestrials on behalf of the Kree Empire. Delphos was impressed by Karnak's abilities in combat, and by his compassion for his comrade Triton. At one point during a lull in combat, Delphos explained to them that she hoped to join the Imperial Guard when team member Oracle retired to marry Tempest.

The Shi'ar forces succeeded in destroying all resistance on the moon, and Delphos, Karnak and Triton were picked up by the Imperial Guardsman Hobgoblin, who informed them that they were all to be recruited into the Imperial Guard. They were sent to Kritnah for the arranged marriage ceremony intended to seal the bond between the Shi'ar and the Spartoi.

(Inhumans IV#4) - Due to her precognition, Delphos was aware that the Kree had placed the Inhumans under their control so that they would assassinate Shi'ar empress Lilandra. They had Hobgoblin masquerade as her on Kritnah to draw out the Inhumans, and Hobgoblin was killed by Black Bolt. Delphos fought the Inhumans alongside the other Guardsmen, sadly ending her friendship with Karnak. After the Inhumans had escaped, Delphos witnessed the departure of Jason of Spartax, who sought to find Medusa. Looking into Jason's future, Delphos saw how he would eventually come to Earth and father Peter Quill.

(Secret X-Men I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Oracle and Delphos secretly worked with Xandra and Deathbird to set up a test for a group of X-Men to come and "rescue" Xandra, with a series of traps in place for them to overcome.

(Secret X-Men I#1) - The group of X-Men (Armor, Banshee, Boom-Boom, Cannonball, Forge, Marrow, Strong Guy, Sunspot, Tempo) completed the tests and found Xandra with her allies. When Deathbird was kidnapped by the Sidri, the X-Men questioned the precognitives about why they hadn't shared the future, but they replied that they had to be careful with what they shared. Xandra made the determination that the X-Men's memories of this encounter needed to be altered.

The Imperial Guard was a takeoff of DC's Legion of Super-Heroes. Delphos is the counterpart of Legion Of Super-Heroes member Dream Girl.
