Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Brainosaur was a rocket-powered vessel containing a powerful computer brain able to disarm bombs. The Brainosaur could be piloted into space, and could be flown by an occupant inside. It possessed a long neck-like appendege for bomb disarming.

History: (Strange Tales I#138/1 - BTS) - After HYDRA launched its Betatron Bomb into orbit, Tony Stark proposed the Brainosaur to Colonel Nick Fury as a means to disarm the weapon. HYDRA attempted to kidnap Stark, but he protected himself in a bullet-proof cubicle, and they took Fury instead.

(Strange Tales I#139/1) - HYDRA was unable to learn anything about the Brainosaur from Fury, who knew nothing. Stark presented a model of the Brainosaur to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s council, and received their approval to use the actual device.

(Strange Tales I#140/1) - Stark launched the Brainosaur from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier and flew out to the Betatron Bomb. He succeeded in removing the bomb's radioactive firing mechanism, rendering the bomb inert and useless to HYDRA.
