strange-nevnevnaroz-upperHistory:
(Generation X#25 - BTS / Daydreamers#1 (fb) - BTS) - When Black Tom Cassidy assaulted the Massachusetts Academy's Biosphere, the Man-Thing transported itself, Howard the Duck, the mutants Leech and Artie Maddicks, Franklin Richards (son of the Fantastic Four's Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards and Invisible Woman/Sue Richards) and Rigellian Colonizer Tana Nile to the Nexus of Realities to save them where they floated atop a chunk of Earth also transported with them.

(Daydreamers#3 (fb) - BTS) - In denial of his parents' seeming death against Onslaught, Franklin Richards apparently thought to escape reality via a series of realms he apparently subconsciously created or to which he just navigated himself and the others.

At the same time, however, to force himself to accept the loss of his parents, Franklin also subconsciously created the Dark Hunter.

(Daydreamers#1 (fb) - BTS) - After Howard fell through a portal in Nevernevernarnozbia, the Man-Thing transported the rest of them to Nevernevernarnozbia as well, although they arrived in a different part of that realm, landing with their chunk of turf atop the Red Witch of the Southeast (who was a Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff counterpart), leading to them being cheered by heroes by a group of Thing (Ben Grimm)-like toddlers or little people (Grimmkins?).

(Daydreamers#1 (fb)) - Tana Nile hoped for answers when a figure approached in a glowing sphere, and she introduced herself, after which Strange introduced theirself. Strange then told them that the being they crushed had long terrorized the people of Nevernevernarnozbia and that for that they must be rewarded, "so...What can I getcha?!"

Franklin told "Mr. Lady" that they were trying to find their friend, Mr. Howard and get back to Earth and asked if Strange could do that. Strange replied that traveling to other realms was somewhat beyond their sorcerous abilities and that the king may be able to help them with that, although the king was not known to be the nicest guy in the place. However, Strange noted that for transportation about Nevernevernarnozbia itself, "Well -- by the Eyeliner of Agamotto, that I can do!" Franklin asked Strange to take them to the king, and Strange formed a mystic sphere that transported the group to the vicinity of the Palace of the King within an hours time. However, they were then blasted, and Strange noted their attacker to be the Red Witch of the Southwest (the twin of the really flat witch) who served the king, "and it looks like she's got a real bustle in her hedgerow, if you know what I mean."

Strange retaliated with an energy blast, but the Red Witch absorbed it into her broom and hurled it back at them via a "return to sender" spell. Strange warned the others to hang just before the blast shattered the protective sphere, after which Strange noted that this certainly wasn't doing anything good to their hair.

(Daydreamers#1 (fb) - BTS) - While Strange escaped, the rest of the group was captured within a binding spell of the Red Witch and brought to the throneroom of the king (who looked something like Dr. Doom) and the queen (who resembled the White Queen/Emma Frost), where Howard the Duck had been brought as well after being captured by the Black Knights.strange-nevnevnaroz-blast

(Daydreamers#1) - After Leech drained the Red Witch's binding spell, freeing himself and his allies, the group was confronted by the Dark Hunter and his crew aboard a ship.

(Daydreamers#2) - After incapacitating Franklin's allies, the Dark Hunter lunged at Franklin, telling him to prepare himself for the eternal darkness, but Strange then appeared in another mystic sphere and interrupted, noting, "Oh, poo.."

Strange continued, "Enough, tall, dark and...well, tall and dark! Wearing black before five p.m. is so gauche! Your presence is an insult to my aesthetic sensibilities." With a wave of their wand, Strange temporarily banished or dispersed the Dark Hunter, continuing, "Begone! And take the 'fleet; with you! Hmmmph! Sailors!"

After the Man-Thing (threw whom Franklin was subconsciously speaking) asked, "Who or what was that?" Strange noted that to be a good question and queried Franklin. When Franklin asked how should he know, Strange replied, "Hmmm, yes, well...I've managed to shoo him away for a little while, but he'll likely be back. I suggest you all move on." Howard asked it he could send them back to Earth, and Strange reaffirmed that they could not do that, but that they could move the group along to the next world. And, with a wave of the wand and a "There's no place like any-place-but-here...t
here's no place like any-place-but-here..." the Daydreamers were transported to a Seussian realm resembling "Here and There."

Comments: Created by J.M. DeMatteis, Todd Dezago and Martin Egeland.

Nevernevernarnozbia would seem to be a mash-up of Never Never Land, Narnia and Oz.

While all of the realms and being they encountered were apparently created by Franklin Richards, somewhere in an infinite Multiverse, there exists a Nevernevernarnozbia and a Strange. Perhaps Franklin drew subconsciously on that realm and briefly made a realm mimicking the real one, or perhaps he actually merged the realm one into a pocket realm of his own creation. So, perhaps we may see this Strange again sometime...

Strange seemed to be a cross-dressing/transvestite counterpart of Dr. Stephen Strange. I don't know what personal pronouns Strange preferred, as that wasn't really a thing back in 1997. I stuck with the proper name Strange but used "they" as needed to make the text less awkward.
The youthful Franklin, not realizing that he was apparently creating the realms and people they were encountering, and also not particularly concerned with political correctness, referred to the introduction, "I am...Strange," with "You sure are," and he later referred to Strange as "Mr. Lady."
