History:
(Eliminator#0/3 (fb) - BTS) - At some point Manic fell under the mental control of Zothros, a being that got trapped in the caves under the Isle of Mytos a long time ago.

(Solution#16/Ultraverse Premiere#10 (fb) - BTS) - Manic stole a data spike with allegedly sensitive accounting data on it. Eliminator was hired to retrieve the data spike.

(Solution#16/Ultraverse Premiere#10) - Eliminator led Manic on a chase through the streets of Hollywood, California. The flying Manic blew up the street behind Eliminator with energy blasts, a power which Eliminator had not been made aware of by his client. Manic was surprised by Eliminator after turning a corner and was shot out of the sky by a gun provided to Eliminator by Ultratech. Manic begged for a moment and then was knocked unconscious with an elbow to the back of his head by Eliminator.

Eliminator took Manic to his Kickback Studios office in Dallas, Texas and called his client to inform him that he had the energy spike and could have Manic for an extra 100 thousand dollars. The client only laughed because he was not willing to pay more money and Eliminator "eliminated" (apparently he could put people into a coma) Manic.

(Night Man I#16/Ultraverse Premiere#11 (fb) - BTS) - Manic was placed in the Morgue at Kickback Studios

(Night Man I#16/Ultraverse Premiere#11) - Connected to numerous machines Manic surprisingly regained consciousness from his death-like state.

(Eliminator#0/3) - Manic made his way up to the office of Mac and knocked him out before stealing the data spike again.

Manic arrived in Zothros' prison to deliver the data spike to him. Zothros ranted about how he would resurrect Argus and be rewarded with his freedom by him.

Eliminator was drawn to the Isle of Mytos by a mystic medallion that tracked down the murderer of his master Tsu to a cave and was immediately attacked by Manic, who sought to protect Zothros. Eliminator was surprised to see Manic because he was supposed to be in the Morgue, but then quickly knocked him out with a kick to the head. Eliminator realized that the data spike stolen by Manic had something to do with the whole situation as well.

(Eliminator#0/4) - Eliminator made his way further into the cave past Manic's unconscious form while Zothros secretly watched him from the shadows. Manic's fate after the defeat of his master at the hands of Eliminator remains unknown.

Comments: Created by Hank Kanalz, Roland Mann, Mike Zeck & Dennis Janke.

The first two stories in Eliminator#0 were reprints of Manic's earlier Ultraverse Premiere appearances.

It is unknown how Manic gained his powers or how much initiative he had while working for Zothros.

He seemed like the character could've been of Native heritage, but nothing specific was stated.
