History:

(Eliminator#0 (fb) - BTS) - Zothros was banished by the acolytes of the powerful god Argus (from the Godwheel realm). However, after having had the guardian monk Tsu slain, Zothros had gained two of the three scrolls needed to resurrect Argus at a key time (the scrolls had originally been separated by the Order of the Trine to prevent the apocalyptic Tribeccan Cycle it would initiate). Zothros hoped Argus would then free him from his hellish prison, mystically bound below Mytos island.

(Ultraverse Premiere#11/1) - Zothros held the two scrolls as they transformed and swore revenge on those who banished him.

(Eliminator#0) - Manic, the mind-controlled servant of Zothros, had been killed by Eliminator while stealing a data spike (actually the mystically camouflaged third scroll needed by Zothros). Manic was resurrected remotely by his master Zothros and brought the spike to Zothros in his underground prison. However, Eliminator, pursuing leads on who had slain his mentor Tsu, encountered Manic there. The two fought again and Manic was defeated once more. With minutes before the combined scrolls opened a breach to free Argus, Zothros viciously attacked Eliminator to prevent him stopping the ritual. The three scrolls began to merge into a mystical machine, but Eliminator broke them apart, causing the three components to revert back to their camouflaged form. Zothros grabbed the spike and stabbed at Eliminator, embedding it in his arm, but this resulted in Zothros being incinerated.

Argus was resurrected in the Godwheel event, published around the same time, so it looks like Zothros' efforts were all for naught.

Chapters 1 & 2 of this Eliminator story (with chapter 2 debuting Zothros) were first published in Ultraverse Premiere !0 & 11, but the story was left unfinished. The two chapters were reprinted and the conclusion added in Eliminator#0.

This profile was completed 03/01/2021, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 20th anniversary 's celebratory event.
