History: (Marvel Premiere#41 (fb))- Jordan Shaw was recruited by Jason to serve as the captain of Seeker 3000. Jordan resisted this role at first, hating the idea of living with the select few favoured by the Six while the rest of humanity died, but Jason claimed that Shaw's wife would be one of those who would survive. Shaw agreed, and was kept in prison for the next year while construction on Seeker 3000 was completed. Whie in prison, he learned that his wife had died, and no longer had any reason to play along with Jason.

(Marvel Premiere#41)- Shaw gathered together John Running Bear, Ben Payton and Valida Payton and informed them of his intent to capture the telepath Phaedra from the Six and have her pilot Seeker 3000 into warp-speed to escape the destruction of humanity. Furthermore, they would dump the DNA the Six intended to use to repopulate humanity, substituting it for randomly-selected DNA of Earth's best scientists, philosophers and humanitarians. The entire crew of Seeker 3000 agreed with Shaw's plan.

Shaw saved Phaedra from the Six on Mars and went on to dump the DNA the Six had left on board and replacing it with the DNA he had chosen. As he sent Phaedra to activate the warp-drive she at first objected, but after learning that the DNA he had brought onboard included 400 telepaths, she agreed to help them. Jason intervened at Saturn to try and stop them, and claimed that Jordan's wife's DNA was among the DNA he had dumped earlier. As Jason's ship exploded, he claimed that Jordan would find the answers in Censys, under Project: Life II.

After Phaedra jumped to warp, Jordan went to Censys to learn if Jason was telling the truth. However, Jason had programmed a failsafe into Censys, activating his downloaded consciousness the moment Jordan requested files on Life II. Jordan's wife was indeed dead, and now Jason was in control of Censys.

(Seeker 3000#1 (fb))- In the years that followed, Jordan had a son named Carter with Valida, and led the crew of Seeker 3000 through a bitter civil war started by Jason. As they rebuilt following the war, Jordan began to clone new crewmen, and created a clone of himself named Jericho who was raised side-by-side with Carter.

(Seeker 3000#1, 4 (fb))- 25 years after Earth's destruction, Jordan joined Jericho and Martika on a mission to planet Cyclades 778 to see if it would be suitable for terraforming. When the planet experienced a volcanic eruption, Jordan fell into a fissure. Jericho nearly pulled him to safety but then reconsidered, and allowed him to fall to his death.
