Powers/Abilities: The Petrachnus possessed five sets of eyes, 8 legs, and was composed of durable stone materials.

History: (Avengers III#40) - The Petrachnus was created from the remains of a ruined building to serve a duplicate of Diablo, which required it to stall the Avenger Silverclaw while it attempted to rescue the true Diablo from the dimension in which he was trapped. Although the Petrachnus was able to hold off Silverclaw momentarily, it was crushed by Wonder Man, who dived on it from above, destroying it.
