Pavane is send up against Shang-Chi, she tries to defeat him by using her whip, but is quickly defeated when she is knocked out by him. Before Velcro’s fortress explodes, Shang-Chi brings the unconscious Pavane to safety

(Master of Kung Fu I#34 - BTS) - Mordillo and Brynocki watch films taped by Pavane when Velcro "died."

(Master of Kung Fu I#35) - Mordillo asks Pavane to stop Shang-Chi and Leiko Wu. Pavane tells him that it will be a pleasure to destroy them both. She has a short conversation with Leiko where she tells her, that at the time Pavane was with Velcro, Leiko was with Mordillo and that alone is enough reason for her to destroy Leiko.

(Master of Kung Fu I#35/Master of Kung Fu I#66 (fb)) - Begins to fight Leiko, defeated .

(Master of Kung Fu I#63) - In the shadows at Shen Kuei’s apartment, seen as his new lover, told by him that he won’t have her mentioning Juliette’s name again. Told by Shen Kuei that he wants her to kill a man. Arrives in the middle of the fight between Shang-Chi and Skullcrusher, identity revealed

(Master of Kung Fu I#65) - Alongside Skullcrusher fights Shang-Chi, knocked out by Shang-Chi. Before losing consciousness, she sends Mara her panther off. After Skullcrusher escapes, taken to Shang-Chi’s house, where she regain consciousness. When Shang-Chi leaves for a moment, Pavane escapes again. Once again she attacks Shang-Chi but is again defeated

(Master of Kung Fu I#66) - Still unconscious, found by Shen Kuei and Skullcrusher, taken to his house. Awakens learns that Shen has gotten some of the stuff they were looking for.

(Master of Kung Fu I#67) - Tells Shen Kuei not to worry they will get the rest of the stuff

(Master of Kung Fu I#68) - Alongside Shen Kuei arrives at Kogar’s secret base, told to wait for him.

(Master of Kung Fu I#105) - It is revealed that Pavane had been betraying Carlton Velcro--working for Mordillo all along. Velcro, who had survived the explosion of his palace, activated his plans for revenge. Shang-Chi and Leiko were sent by Smith to protect Pavane from an assassination attempt by Velcro's agent, a new Razor-Fist. The two made it past her panthers, but the noise awakened Pavane, who assumed them to be the aggressors--and Pavane still held a grudge against Leiko for "stealing away Mordillo." However, when Razor-Fist broke in and slew one of her cats, she joined forces with Shang and Leiko and defeated their attacker. Pavane then revealed that Velcro was still alive, and that there was yet another Razor-Fist yet to deal with.

(Master of Kung Fu I#106) - Have a talk with Razor-Fist, whom Carlton Velcro has sent to kill her. Learns that the two new Razor-Fists are brothers, not twin brothers though, and not related to the original. Shang-Chi asks her if, since Velcro has targeted her life, she wants to join them in the hunt for Velcro, but she refuses. She says “you’ve forced me out of retirement tonight, but once I turned Razor-Fist over to the authorities at MI-6 I intend to resume the life of a lady at ease. Besides, I've faced the two of you often enough to know that you'll probably succeed against Velcro on your own. And if you don't...well, then...at least you won't be in the way should I decide to come out of retirement in the future."

SECRET WARS III HAPPENED

(Daughters of the Dragon: Deep Cuts#1/5 (fb) - BTS) - Pavane was caught by Emila Vachon and placed in her collection on her ship (she called it the Wine Cellar). It is unknown what Emila had done to her panthers, but Pavane was kept on board, kept docile in programmed behavior loops created by S.Q.U.I.D. technology (a high-tech collar around his neck) as Ms. Marsanne.

(Daughters of the Dragon: Deep Cuts#1/5) - As part of her daily loop she drank cocktails in the evening. She always told Misty about her dreams of panthers. When Misty tried to remember the day before, Pavane reminded her that they were on holiday. This loop repeated itself for several days.

(Daughters of the Dragon: Deep Cuts#1/6) - Pavane was freed from the S.Q.U.I.D. collar's control when Colleen Wing, after breaking free herself upon seeing her sword, deactivated the mind-control system. Pavane choked out a guard with her whip while asking about her panthers' whereabouts.

(Daughters of the Dragon: Deep Cuts#1/6 - BTS) - She was rescued from the ship.

Pavane may be one of the unidentified women serving in Velcro's harem, in Master of Kung Fu I#29, but I'm not certain--Snood.

Two robotic doubles of Pavane were used by Doctor Doom against Shang-Chi in Master of Kung Fu I#59-60 (December, 1977 - January, 1978) in a "game" against the Prime Mover.
