Powers/Abilities: Officer Z.E.R.O. was composed of bulletproof and waterproof materials, and carried special weapons within his holsters which attached over his hands. His gun fired explosives shells. Z.E.R.O. also had enhanced audio senses. Z.E.R.O.'s batteries were recharged for four hours each day, but he never shut down because of the interface device located in his creator Thomas Rizzo's cerebral cortex. This device allowed Z.E.R.O. to learn and grow like a human being through interaction, but Z.E.R.O. was affected by Rizzo's subconscious distrust of "Mad-Dog" Rassitano, causing him to hate police officers.

History: (Thunderstrike#8)- Officer Z.E.R.O. was designed by Thomas Rizzo as an alternative to losing the lives of police officers on the streets. Equipped with a device which tapped into Rizzo's cerebral cortex so that he could learn and grow, Z.E.R.O. impressed members of the city council, and Captain Shelley Conklin assigned Z.E.R.O. to a training exercise alongside Code: Blue.

The training exercise was to involve Z.E.R.O. interacting with plainclothes police officers in a variety of scenarios, but as they set out together, Z.E.R.O. separated from Code: Blue, having picked up some drug dealers in the midst of a deal nearby with his hearing. The dealers opened fire upon Z.E.R.O., and he responded by using his gun to explode the outer wall of a nearby building, crushing them beneath it.

Code: Blue "Mad-Dog" Rassitano was furious with Z.E.R.O. for taking the men's lives and called Z.E.R.O. a disgrace to the uniform. Z.E.R.O. responded: "And-you-officer-Rassitano-are-an-expert-when-it-comes-to-dirty-cops! Get-out-of-my-face-you-back-stabbing-piece-of-filth!" Z.E.R.O. struck Rassitano down, and then began to attack the other members of Code: Blue, having come to believe that he could not trust police officers, having picked up Rizzo's subconscious dislike of Rassitano.

Lt. Stone managed to blast Z.E.R.O.'s head off, but the robot continued to function, intent on killing them. It finally fell to the ground inert after Rizzo shot himself in the head, ending the flow from his cerebral cortex.
