History:

(Fantastic Four 1999 Annual) - As the Fantastic Four were looking for magic users to help their friend Alyssa Moy, Mechamage tapped into their phone line and listened in on their conversation. The Fantastic Four decided to ask Margali Szardos for help and found her imprisoned in La Citadel by Selene. The Fantastic Four tried to rescue her, but instead began to lose their souls. Mechamage suddenly teleported in to save the day, and returned the Fantastic Four's souls back into their bodies. She was then able to free Margali Szardos from her prison and Margali transported all of them to Limbo (where they encountered the Jahrmarkt).

From Limbo, Margali began to help the Fantastic Four deal with the magical threat which lay ahead for them. During this down-time, Mechamage took off her armor and gave the Human Torch a back rub. Margali later teleported Mr. Fantastic and Mechamage back to earth to attend the Hellfire Club's party, and Mechamage cast a spell to appear to be Alyssa Moy. At the club they found themselves in a secret ceremony where Blackheart and his consort Selene began to collect their souls. Mechamage and Mr. Fantastic began to resist and Margali teleported in with the rest of the Fantastic Four. They all began to attack Selene and Blackheart and Mechamage flew right into Blackheart and rescued Daimon Hellstrom, the Invisible Women, and Margali Szardos' souls from him. Freed, Hellstrom forced Blackheart into a prison in the basement of the Hellfire Club. With Blackheart neutralized, Mechamage, Alyssa Moy, and Margali Szardos joined together to form the Shadow Hunters to expunge the forces of evil on earth.

(Maximum Security#3) - During the so-called "Maximum Security" event, while the life-form known as Ego invaded the earth, Mechamage and Margali joined with Agatha Harkness, the Scarlet Witch, Dakimh, Khalid Inshallah and Jules St. Thomas in an attempt to cast Ego out of the earth, but their spells were unsuccessful. Ultimately, the hero Quasar rid the earth of Ego by absorbing him into himself.

(Civil War: Battle Damage Report) - Tony Stark listed Mechamage's status as undetermined.
