Powers/Abilities: The Xenians' standard level of technology is well above Earth norms. Xenians have mastered faster-than-light travel for their spaceships.
Although they do not speak English, they evidently have some form of
long-range monitoring devices which they used to study Earth and learn
the English language.
The Xenians are roughly similar to humans in appearance and breathe oxygen as humans do.
Traits: The Xenians are similar to humans in personality.
History:
(Amazing Adult Fantasy I#9/3) - A Xenian set out from the Black Void to
Earth to serve as an ambassador in an offer of friendship to the
planet. The Xenian studied English so that he could speak the local
tongue. Aware that humans were at a lower level of technology than the
Xenians, he landed his craft in a desolate area where he wouldn't
frighten anyone.
As he could breathe in Earth's oxygen atmosphere, the Xenian removed his spacesuit and donned cloth apparel so he wouldn't appear frightening. Heading to a major US city, the Xenian called out to the passing crowds that he had come as an ambassador from the Black Void. However, the mobs of people completely ignored him. The Xenian was shocked that the humans had so little interest in what he had to say, considering the thousands of planets where the Xenians had been welcomed for their knowledge and friendship. Disappointed, he returned to his ship and departed Earth, still wondering why his mission failed. Unknown to the Xenian, he had landed on April 1st - April Fool's Day - and the crowds thought he was playing a joke.

It's a little unusual for an alien race to have two names for themselves (especially from a 3-page story where the 1st page was a lone splash image!) but maybe Xeman and Xenian are analogous to "human" and "person."
