History:
(Rocket I#2 (fb) - BTS) - Murd Blurdock was an Echomelian from Everett-5, a species that lacked sight but possessed intrinsic echolocation. As a child, Murd was struck by radioactive Originium and lost his echolocation abilities but developed functioning eyes instead, which he kept secret from other Echomelians. Murd became a lawyer, something Echomelians excelled at, and began practicing law across many interstellar systems along with his friend and partner Frogurt "Froggy" Frelson. He also secretly operated as a vigilante under the alias Seeing Being, through which he met and formed a relationship with a female Echomelian assassin. At some point, Murd managed to convince other Echomelians that Seeing Being was in fact his secret twin brother.

(Rocket I#2) - Murd and "Froggy" represented Rocket Raccoon, who was on trial for numerous crimes on Tarka's World. Moments before the trial, Murd noticed his female acquaintance in the courtroom, holding a sign that urged him to come and fight ninjas alongside her. Murd ran towards the woman and out of the courtroom, much to "Froggy"'s chagrin.

(New Mutants IV#1 - BTS) - Murd Blurdock advertised his services as a lawyer in Shi'ar space. Sunspot (Roberto Da Costa) from Earth knew of Murd and kept his number.

(New Mutants IV#2 (fb) - BTS) - When Sunspot and his New Mutants teammates were arrested by the Shi'ar, Da Costa hired Blurdock to represent them.

(New Mutants IV#2 (fb)) - Blurdock contacted Sunspot and informed his client that he managed to expedite their court date. It was still a week away due to the need for travel but, after Sunspot's protests, Murd managed to get it down to three days.

(New Mutants IV#2) - During the trial, Murd tried to appeal to the defendants' alien nature and cultural background. The Shi'ar judge refused to consider this plea and Blurdock lost the case.

(New Mutants IV#5 (fb)) - Sunspot fired Blurdock for his inadequate performance as lawyer.

(X-Corp I#1 - BTS) - Monet St. Croix considered hiring Blurdock to assist with the relaunch of the X-Corporation.

(X-Men VI#1 - BTS) - Following the transformation of Sol's Mars into the Planet Arakko, Blurdock advertised his services to any previous inhabitants of the planet who could be entitled to compensation.

(X-Men VI#6 - BTS) - Blurdock advertised his experience in successfully litigating ownership of both natural and artificial satellites.

Comments: Created by Al Ewing, Adam Gorham and Michael Garland.

In X-Men VI#6, his name is spelled as "Blurd Murdock." It remains to be seen whether this is an error or has an in-universe explanation.

Murd's height is approximated from him being slightly taller than all members of the New Mutants present in New Mutants IV#2.

No points for guessing which other character Murd Blurdock is based off.

I would have tried to approximate Blurdock's weight if he were a boring human but he was a brand new alien species - we don't know how dense or light they might be.

Murd's appearance and activities as Seeing Being have not been depicted to date.

CLARIFICATIONS:
Seeing Being has absolutely no known connections to:

"Echomelian assassin woman"

The "assassin woman" was a female Echomelian who apparently had prior relationship with Blurdock in his Seeing Being persona. She showed up in the courtroom during the trial of Rocket Raccoon, armed with a sai and holding a written sign inviting Murd to fight ninjas with her, causing Blurdock to run after her instead of attending his client's trial.
