Powers/Abilities: Lash is a mutant with the ability to create a powerful pink lightning whip with which she could easily cut large shipwrecks in halve. It's been unrevealed if Lash's powers only work on inorganic material.

History:

(Marauders I#20 (fb) - BTS) - When the young Indian girl Sunita manifested her mutant abilities she was coerced into working in a shipbreaking yard. Becoming known as Lash, because of her mutant abilities, Sunita did the work of a dozen men, tearing up old ships. Sunita obediently followed their orders, fearing her employers would hurt her parents and sisters.

(Marauders I#20 - BTS) - Unbeknownst to Sunita, Storm and the Marauders had learned of her plight and came to India to free her. First, the Marauders rescued Sunita's parents and sister after which Storm made her way to the shipbreaking yard.

(Marauders I#20 (fb)) - Sunita was hard at work taking apart large ships when Storm arrived and threatened her supervisor. Storm then approached the girl and told her she could stop, but fearing for the lives of her family Sunita continued and manifested another lightning whip until Storm grabbed the whip with her bare hands. The Marauders explained they had already saved her family and they were waiting for her on their boat. Shocked salvation had arrived at last, Sunita dissolved her whip and hugged Storm.
