History:
(Wisdom I#4) - James Ransom, in his battle with Pete Wisdom and MI:13, summoned several counterparts of the infamous serial killer, Jack the Ripper, from other realities. One woman, summoned to Earth-616, began killing another woman, but Wisdom stopped her, firing plasma knives out of his fingers, as he called her "Jill the Ripper" as he did so.

Comments: Created by Paul Cornell, Manuel Garcia, and Mark Farmer.

It is impossible to determine "Jill the Ripper"'s height and weight.

All the different Rippers seen in the story were nods to the various theories and fictionalized versions of Jack that have emerged over the years, Jill in particular is a nod to the theory that the killer might have actually been a woman, suggested during the killings themselves by no less a personage as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who pointed out that she could pretend to be a midwife, which would mean she could walk around in blood stained clothing and no one would think anything of it. The only woman considered a possible suspect at the time was Mary Pearcey (an unfortunate surname is she was into stabbing people). Her name gained prominence in 1939 when she was named in William Stewart's book Jack the Ripper: A New Theory, and again in 2006 (shortly before the Wisdom storyline was written, so her name had been in the press) when they tested the DNA in saliva on the stamps of letters sent to the press, allegedly by the killer, during the Ripper killings, and it turned out to belong to a woman.
As you can see, while it might not be deliberate, Jill the Ripper doesn't look too unlike her.
