History:
(U.S.Avengers#2 (fb) - BTS) - A criminal of mysterious origins in a distant future, the Golden Skull rose to power and was considered to be a planetary threat. Some said he was the son of an environmental activist turned super-criminal (presumably an alternate version of the Green Skull), and that Golden Skull sought to become everything his father hated. Some said he was the nephew of Parnival Plunder. Some said he was the descendant of William Taurey, the foe of the Captain America of the Revolutionary War. Golden Skull surrounded himself with pirate-themed criminals and loved destroying things and then selling the spoils for fortune. Golden Skull went through several operatives named Jolly Jack, each of whom he killed. Golden Skull developed a reputation of promising riches to his servants but never paying them.

(Avengers: Ultron Forever#1) - After New York flooded, which it did regularly, Golden Skull led his pirate crew on a small craft to steal a cache of helium. Captain America (Danielle Cage) attacked, shaking off gunfire and grabbing Golden Skull, but she suddenly vanished in a mysterious flash, disappearing into the timestream.

(Uncanny Avengers: Ultron Forever#1) - Golden Skull was singing as he drove his ship away, but Captain America returned, defeating him and tying up him and his crew.

(U.S.Avengers#1) - The Golden Skull traveled into the relative past of Earth-616's modern era with his crew.

(U.S.Avengers#2) - Golden Skull made plans to loot the past, and was ready to kill another Jolly Jack, but Captain America (having followed him from the future) attacked. Using a time machine that had been left at his location (that of the old Latverian embassy), Golden Skull escaped.

(U.S.Avengers#2/U.S.Avengers#3 - BTS) - Golden Skull led his team in committing several robberies, including stealing technology and gold and raiding garbage disposal companies, having realized that Arcade used these companies to house his robotics and his kidnapping victims. The Golden Skull and his team took over one of Arcade's Murderworld bases in a half-finished casino.

(U.S.Avengers#3 (fb) - BTS) - Knowing that Captain America was after him with her new allies, the U.S.Avengers, Golden Skull decided to lay a trap for them. Golden Skull hosted an event at the Wyne International Hotel, inviting some of the world's billionaires to attend, but then he put the billionaires in stasis and replaced them with robot duplicates. Golden Skull designed pirate robots to follow him, making them listen to his speeches, then designed a special suit of armor for himself out of solid gold. He developed a trigger in his suit that, if pressed, would kill all the billionaires.

(U.S.Avengers#2) - American Intelligence Mechanics showed up and were shocked to see all of the robots at the party.

(U.S.Avengers#3) - As the Golden Skull watched, the robots attacked the U.S.Avengers, but soon Captain America and Iron Patriot found Golden Skull's Murderworld base and made short work of the robot pirates. Golden Skull revealed himself in his fancy armor, but Iron Patriot easily severed the hand holding the trigger switch, then tore the armor apart, defeating Golden Skull. Captain America bound Golden Skull and then returned him to the future.
