History:
(Emma Frost I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Christian Frost was born to the wealthy and strict Winston Frost, and his wife Hazel. Christian grew up with three sisters, Emma, Cordelia, and Adrienne. Christian developed the habit of calling his parents by their first names.

(Iceman IV#2 (fb) - BTS) - Winston was cruel to Christian at times, ignoring the joy and laughter that Christian brought to the Frost home and instead putting pressure on him to conform to Winston's expectations. Suspecting Christian was gay, at some point, Winston was even rougher on Christian.

(New X-Men I#139) - Winston often yelled at his wife and children, inspiring fear in each of them. He considered Christian not worth his time, and wondered which of his daughters, Emma, Adrienne, or Cordelia, would carry on his fortune. Christian's mother struggled with addiction and ended up in an insane asylum.

(X-Men Origins: Emma Frost#1 (fb)) - At a family dinner, Christian sat at the table as Winston yelled at Emma.

(Emma Frost I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Christian went off with his father on a trade deal, and he misspoke once, nearly revealing one of his father's trade strategies. Christian apologized to his father repeatedly.

(Emma Frost I#1) - At dinner with his family, Christian continued to be taunted by his father, who called him an idiot. Christian was disgusted when Winston yelled at Emma for getting Bs instead of As. Privately, Christian told Emma he was proud of her, and she confided in him that she had been experiencing intense migraines lately, but she asked him to keep that from their parents. Later, defying his father's orders, Christian helped Emma get ready for a dance (noting that white was her color), then helped her sneak out of the house.

(Emma Frost I#2) - Hearing word of Emma getting terrible headaches, Christian worried about her and encouraged her to get support, but she threatened to expose a secret he was keeping and told him to go get ready for his date and leave her alone.

(Emma Frost I#3) - Christian saw Winston yell at Emma at the dinner table when Emma announced that she wanted to be a schoolteacher. Christian went horseback riding with Emma and he wondered why she had told Winston, but Emma said she couldn't keep secrets anymore.

(Emma Frost I#4 (fb) - BTS) - Christian took a job working at Frost Technologies.

(Emma Frost I#4 (fb) - BTS) - Christian moved into his father's townhome to have some space on his own. At some point he met Dante Ortega, who'd been in trouble with the law, and they realized they were attracted to each other. Christian and Dante began a relationship in secret. When Dante wanted to be open about their relationship, Christian said he wasn't ready to come out, and Dante was hurt.

(Emma Frost I#4) - Emma came to visit Christian just as Dante was storming out, and her new mutant powers allowed her to read Dante's memory. Emma realized that Christian was gay and keeping it a secret from her. Chaufer Bryce unloaded her luggage so she could stay with Christian for a time. Later, Emma talked to Christian about secrets that Adrienne was keeping, but she asked him about Dante, Christian rushed off in tears, telling her to mind her own business. At a bar that night, Christian's drink was drugged by a man who was determined to kill him, but Emma saved him. Back at home, Christian finally came out to Emma, telling her the truth about Dante, but Winston was listening and he condemned Christian for being gay. Adrienne revealed she'd been modeling and Cordelia revealed that, not only had she been spying on Christian, but that she had a tattoo. Winston was furious with all of his children and ordered them not to leave their home.

(Emma Frost I#5) - Christian refused to stay contained like Winston wanted and walked away to live his own life.

(Emma Frost I#5 - BTS) - Winston responded by firing Christian, freezing his bank accounts, and kicking him out of the house.

(Emma Frost I#5) - Christian called Emma for support and she informed him that Hazel was ill and bedridden. Winston expected Christian to come home with his tail between his legs, but Emma helped Christian move in with Dante instead, shocking and angering Winston. Days later, Emma visited Christian and Dante, but armed officers stormed the apartment, planting drugs and guns there in order to frame Dante for serious crimes. Later, in jail, Winston confronted Emma and Christian, he revealed that Dante, who had a few drug charges already, had been deported back to Cuba. Christian spent days in his room, refusing to eat much, struggling with major depression, and Emma later walked in to see Christian had tried hanging himself.

(Emma Frost I#6 (fb) - BTS) - Emma cut Christian down and called 911. He was rushed to the hospital and placed under the care of Dr. Raines.

(Emma Frost I#6) - After Winston refused to allow Christian visitors for several days, Emma visited Christian and saw the rope mark around his neck, and he apologized for her having to find him that way, though he still wished he was dead.

(Emma Frost I#6 - BTS) - Christian had Cordelia bring him drugs and he got high in the hospital.

(Emma Frost I#6) - Emma found Christian high and was very concerned.

(Emma Frost I#6 - BTS) - Christian was released from the hospital and returned to Winston's home, depressed and pretending like everything was fine.

(Emma Frost I#6) - Emma tried confronting Christian, but he called her a buzz-kill and asked to be left alone. Emma blackmailed her father into getting help for Christian, thinking he would send Christian to rehab, but Winston had Christian committed to a mental institution instead. After hearing Winston tell the family that Emma would control his fortunes, Christian was pulled away by authorities. He called out for Emma, wondering why she had done this.

(New X-Men I#139) - Winston Frost yelled at his wife and children, inspiring fear in each of them. He considered Christian not worth his time, and wondered which of his daughters, Emma, Adrienne, or Cordelia, would carry on his fortune. Like his mother, Christian struggled with addiction. He ended up in an insane asylum.

SECRET WARS III HAPPENED

(Iceman IV#2 (fb) - BTS) - In the institution, Christian stayed in limited contact with Emma and he focused on his sobriety. Christian was subjected to reparative therapy, in which they used pills, starvation, and other techniques in a terrible attempt to make Christian straight. At some point, Christian's mutant nature revealed itself and Christian developed telepathic powers. Years later, Winston pulled Christian out of the institution in another attempt to get him to take over the family business. Winston died under unrevealed circumstances and Christian locked the body in a room in the family home. When Emma tried to visit, Christian manifested a psychic projection of Winston and turned Emma away.

(Iceman IV#2) - Emma returned with Iceman and Christian greeted them, though she was furious when she saw a glass of wine in Christian's hand. Emma and Iceman discovered Winston's corpse, and Christian then attacked them with the psychic projection of Winston. Emma and Iceman sparred with Christian and his projection of Winston inside Iceman's mind, and Christian yelled at Emma, wondering how she could have left him to be tortured for all of that time. Emma offered a genuine apology and Christian forgave her. She agreed to stay and help him take control of his powers and of Frost Technologies.

(Iceman IV#5 (fb) - BTS) - Emma helped clean up the rumors around Winston's death, keeping Christian free of the murder of his father. Emma was hesitant to train Christian in the use of his powers, worrying he wouldn't be able to control them.

(Iceman IV#4) - Emma took Christian to a Mutant Pride event, where he saw Dazzler perform.

(Iceman IV#5) - Emma and Christian were shopping for material when she sensed a battle nearby. Christian convinced Emma to help him focus his powers in the fight and they rushed to find Iceman, Shade, Bishop, Kitty Pryde, and Nightcrawler battling Mr. Sinister and his creations. Christian manifested a psychic projection of his father to help the others in the attack, while Christian yelled in rage about the way his father had treated him growing up.

(Uncanny X-Men: Winter's End#1) - Christian showed up at a birthday party for Iceman, and Kitty Pryde and Jean Grey were initially furious he was there. Christian approached Iceman and thanked him for his help, then he gave Iceman a substantial check from Winston's company that Iceman could use however he wanted.

(Marauders I#2 - BTS) - After the mutants established a sovereign nation on Krakoa, Christian Frost was appointed as the White Bishop to the Hellfire Trading Company, serving under his sister, the White Queen (Emma Frost).

(Marauders I#5 (fb) - BTS) - Christian was given the ship, the Mercury, an elaborate and lavish submarine that contained many comforts, including a grand piano. Christian began to date Iceman, and he invited Iceman to join his crew on the Mercury.

(Marauders I#10 (fb) - BTS) - Emma acquired an alien ship under unrevealed circumstances and gave it to Christian to use on missions. He somehow set the ship's interface to his piano aboard the Mercury, and Christian could pilot the ship when he played his piano.

(Marauders I#5) - Iceman and Christian went to the Arctic, where Iceman showed off his powers by putting additional freezes upon the glaciers there, though Christian noted that the effect would only be temporary. Back on the Mercuary, Christian wondered if the reason Iceman wouldn't move into his ship was because he was busy protecting Kate Pryde as a member of the Marauders. Back at Hellfire Bay, Christian attended a meeting of the leadership of the Hellfire Trading Company, including Sebastian Shaw, Shinobi Shaw, Emma Frost, Kate Pryde, and Bishop. Christian went to a party with Iceman, but remained behind with Emma when the Hellions rushed off on a mission.

(Marauders I#6 (fb)) - Sebastian Shaw made a proposal to Christian, wanting to kill Kate Pryde for his own reasons, he argued that then Iceman would be free to join Christian's crew.

(Marauders I#7) - Christian went to Island M and met other members of the Hellfire Trading Company, including Bishop, Storm, Callisto, and Iceman. Iceman and Christian kissed, and Iceman wondered if Christian had chosen a code name for himself yet. Christian just told Iceman to choose one for him.

(Marauders I#8) - Christian gave some young mutants a tour of the Red Farm on Mars, having stepped through the Krakoan gateway there, then he sent the kids on with Emma to see more. Emma soon summoned Christian and told him to bring the Mercury to Krakoa. There, they picked up Iceman, and Emma informed them that Kate Pryde had been killed near Madripoor.

(X-Force VI#9) - Christian hung out at the Green Lagoon bar.

(Marauders I#10 (fb) - BTS) - Christian chose to use a piano to interface with Emma's new spaceship, the Mercury, able to choose whatever design he wanted so that he could control the ship remotely. The Mercury could disguise itself as a submarine.

(Marauders I#10) - Christian piloted the Mercury during a mission to stop the Russian government from utilizing technology that cancels out mutant powers. Bishop was fascinated by Christian's ability to control the ship through his piano.

(Marauders I#17) - The Black Bishop (Shinobi Shaw) met with Christian at the Green Lagoon bar, where Blob made Christian a non-alcoholic cocktail, and he proposed an expedition together. Christian liked the idea and said he would present it to Emma, who, he noted, he was always honest with. Later, Christian, Shinobi, and Bishop met with Emma Frost and Sebastian Shaw (now badly wounded and in a wheelchair) at a new island headquarters that Emma had founded. Shinobi and Sebastian were put in charge of legitimate dealings, while Christian and Emma were put in charge of black market dealings. They met Jumbo Carnation and Saucier there to plan a state dinner.

Iceman, Bishop, Kate Pryde, Lockheed, Pyro, Sebastian Shaw, Shinobi Shaw, Callisto, and Proteus in Madripoor as Emma announced the Hellfire Trading Company's plans to develop Lowtown in Madripoor.
