Powers/Abilities: A natural leader, Fireclaw was designed by Kid Kaiju (presumably, see comments) to be a giant tiger-themed monster with heightened senses, claws on his fingers as well as three flaming claws (that can rend things open and set them on fire), massive sharp spikes on his back, and a long spiked tail that he can use to hit his opponents. Fireclaw has super-strength and agility, proportional to his massive size and weight. Fireclaw likely had a mental symbiosis with Kid Kaiju, who felt Fireclaw's death, and it caused his nose to bleed.

History:
(Monsters Unleashed II#5 (fb) - BTS) - Kei Kawade aka. Kid Kaiju,
designed several new monsters in his notebook, including Fireclaw,
Slizzik, Aegis, Scragg, Hi-Vo, and Mekara, though they remained
unfinished.
(Monsters Unleashed II#5) - When the Leviathon Mother attacked, Kid Kaiju completed his six drawings, bringing them to life with his powers, and Fireclaw led the others in an attack against the giant alien monster. Fireclaw was frustrated when Aegis called him Fryger. Leviathon Mother killed Fireclaw with a claw through the chest, and Kei felt the death which caused his own nose to bleed.

Little is known about Fireclaw's origins, but it was hinted about the other five monsters later that they had not been created by Kei Kawade, but rather summoned from another place, though it is possible their memories of their former lives were implanted by Kawade subconsciously. Kawade could possibly resurrect Fireclaw by drawing him again, but he has seemed hesitant to do so about monsters who have died directly. The other five monsters (Slizzik, Aegis, Scragg, Hi-Vo, and Mekara) later combined to form the powerful Smasher, and it is possible that Fireclaw would have fit into that combined form had he not been killed.
This profile was completed 10/30/2020, but its publication was delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 20th anniversary 's celebratory event.
