History:
(Great Lakes Avengers I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Connie Ferrari of Ferrari and Hindel Associates was appointed the legal representative for the Avengers superhero group.

(Great Lakes Avengers I#1) - At their law offices in New York, Ferrari and Hindel Associates' Connie Ferrari was approached by her assistant Amy and despite Ferrari's attempts to avoid whatever Amy was attempting to tell her in an effort to not be sidetracked from her impending date, Ferrari was informed of a legal situation involving the Avengers. Upon finally reading the documents Amy gave her, Ferrari had Amy cancel her date so they could catch a flight out. Soon arriving at the Milwaukee, Wisconsin home of the would-be superhero Flatman, formerly of the unofficial Great Lakes Avengers team, Connie Ferrari and Amy informed Flatman that he owned the legal rights to the Avengers name, having years ago applied for a trademark on the Avengers name before being sent a cease and desist order from the actual Avengers. The Ferrari and Hindel Associates employees then admitted they were there to buy back the Avengers name from Flatman.

Hours later, after Ferrari and Hindel Associates had assured Flatman they could meet his demands, Connie and Amy had still not come to an agreement with Flatman regarding what to give him in exchange for the Avengers name. Admitting that Flatman's home was starting to bum her out, Connie suggested Flatman simply tell her exactly what he wanted so she could get out of there. When Flatman impulsively decided he wanted whatever was in Amy's briefcase, Connie ordered Amy to give her the briefcase and Connie then offered to reinstate the Great Lakes Avengers as a permanent official addition to the true Avengers in exchange for Flatman's agreement to waive all rights and ownership of the Avengers name.

(Great Lakes Avengers I#2) - When the Great Lakes Avengers were arrested following a confrontation with criminal businessman Nain Rouge at his nightclub, the Baphomet, Connie and Amy of Ferrari and Hindel Associates arrived at the jail and Connie demanded to know why her clients had been arrested for doing their job. When city councilman Dick Snerd later arrived at the police station and grew angry as the police station were letting the newest Great Lakes Avenger Good Boy go after she assaulted him with a beer bottle, Connie explained that there were no witnesses to prove Good Boy had assaulted Snerd and that the police could not hold her. Connie then proclaimed Good Boy and the Great Lakes Avengers free to go and when Snerd tried to argue, Connie reminded him that he would have to explain to voters why he took the city's only superheroes off the streets during recent threats from supervillains. Snerd immediately went silent and as he departed the station, he warned that he was a powerful man and that all present would regret crossing him.

(Great Lakes Avengers I#4) - Riding through town in a limo, Connie Ferrari and Amy of Ferrari and Hindel Associates discussed Snerd's injunction preventing the Great Lakes Avengers from performing heroics but Connie was too distracted by the disappointing results in her Firestarter dating app. She then whined to Amy and warned never to date superheroes before gruffly remarking about the low possibilities of Amy ever dating a superhero, completely unaware that Amy was texting the heroic mutant Gambit. When the Ferrari and Hindel Associates arrived at the Great Lakes Avengers HQ, Connie commented that they shouldn't be there long and warned Amy not to go to lunch or anything while she was inside. Fearful that Connie might revoke their official Avengers status if she knew they were holding city councilman and secret criminal Dick Snerd hostage in their HQ, the Great Lakes Avengers greeted Connie, all wearing sunglasses to seem "inconspicuous." Ignoring the goofball heroes' actions, Connie led Amy into the HQ and sat down, prepared to discuss Snerd's injunction against the Great Lakes Avengers that prevented them from performing heroics. Soon realizing that the GLA seemed very on edge as she continued her discussion, Connie ultimately demanded to know what was going on and when she heard a crash in a nearby closet, Connie walked over to the closet, threatening to revote the team's official Avengers status if they had been performing heroics behind her back. When Flatman attempted to prevent Connie from entering the closet, Connie demanded he move out of the way and Big Bertha relented, convincing Flatman to let Connie pass and Connie entered the closet to find a bloody Dick Snerd and GLA member Good Boy, who remarked that she had messed up.

(Great Lakes Avengers I#5) - After the GLA dropped the injured Snerd off at Butler Hospital, Connie Ferrari, still representing Ferrari and Hindel Associates, met with the GLA and stressed the seriousness of the situation. Warning the team to lay low for awhile, Connie departed to return to New York.

Only Connie Ferrari appears in Great Lakes Avengers I#5 but I chose to include it as an appearance of the group because Connie was meeting with the GLA on behalf of her company. Additionally, we never do actually see the "Hindel" part of Ferrari & Hindel Associates.

Amy

Amy was the assistant of Connie Ferrari of Ferrari and Hindel Associates who was often talked down to by Connie Ferrari. She accompanied Connie to Michigan to meet with the Great Lakes Avengers and remained at Connie's side throughout Connie's interactions with the Great Lakes Avengers. While Connie grew annoyed at not being able to find any single superheroes in Detroit, Amy was secretly texting the mutant Gambit.
