History:
(Great Lakes Avengers I#6 (fb) - BTS) - When the criminal Nain Rouge was hospitalized, Doug and his live-in graphic designer/life coach Geoff optioned to buy Nain Rouge's former nightclub, Baphomet.

(Great Lakes Avengers I#6) - As the Great Lakes Avengers Flatman and Mister Immortal were working on repairing Flatman's Flatmobile, Doug and Geoff happened upon the heroes. Impressed at the possibilities of what he could do with the broken down Winnebago, Doug asked Flatman how much he wanted for the Flatmobile. As Flatman became confused as what was happening, Doug began imagining what all he could do with the Flatmobile such as putting a kitchen inside and turning it into a food truck, asking Geoff if he was writing the ideas down. Flatman eventually asked who Doug was and Doug introduced himself and Geoff but Mister Immortal informed Doug that the Flatmobile was not for sale.

Realizing Flatman and Mister Immortal were superheroes, Doug became very impressed and Geoff began inspecting the Flatmobile, suggesting they could cover it in photos of people crying at "old-timey funerals." Doug quickly suggested the heroes disregard the visionary Geoff and Mister Immortal replied by asking what exactly Doug did. Doug then explained how Geoff and himself were buying the former Baphomet club and how they would be the Great Lakes Avengers' new neighbors.

Geoff was the live-in graphic designer/life coach for Doug and the two optioned to buy the former Baphomet nightclub after its former owner, Nain Rouge, was outed as a supervillain. The two later happened upon the Great Lakes Avengers Flatman and Mister Immortal and when Doug seemed interested in buying the heroes' Flatmobile vehicle, Geoff began imagining what he could do to the vehicle, such as covering it in photos of people crying at "old-timey" funerals. As Geoff continued imagining, Doug suggested the Great Lakes Avengers disregard the visionary Geoff.
