History:
(Bizarre Adventures I#33/1 (fb) - BTS) - At some point Myrna married Frank Lukaikas. Obsessed with the occult Myrna used Frank's money to buy many alleged occult objects and tomes. He often believed that she didn't actually love him.

   At some point Myrna started to cheat on Fran with occult shop owner Gideon Starr.

   After learning that he would die within six months of a progressive heart disease Frank decided to change his will to give half of his money to his niece.

   Myrna made a plan with Gideon Starr to kill Frank before he could change his will by scaring him to death. In an elaborate scheme Gideon would pose as the Zombie (Simon Garth) summoned by a voodoo ritual performed by Myrna herself. Myrna secretly planned to kill Gideon right afterward as well because she didn't want to share her inheritance of nearly one million dollars with him either.

(Bizarre Adventures I#33/1) - On a Tuesday, a week after her husband learned about his progressive heart disease, Myrna rushed with him to Gideon Starr Occult Curios in New York. He was rather annoyed by the occult nonsense while she pressed him to respect her outside interests. She was well aware that he only had six more months to live and told him that she had decided for him to live his last six months like they would live forever and he just went along with it. Inside the shop they were welcomed by Gideon Starr, who Myrna claimed she had never met before. He gave her the Amulet of Damballah (actually a plastic fake) and a book containing voodoo rituals after telling her the story of the Zombie (Simon Garth), who had been controlled by the Amulet of Damballah before and even showed them a picture. Frank mocked the whole thing and just wanted to go home. Myrna followed him to the train after buying the amulet and book.

   Back home in Long Island Myrna lost herself in the voodoo book and completely ignored Frank proofing to him once again that she never really loved him, which was the reason why he was going to leave half his money to his niece. Myrna made sure that Frank's lawyer Winston would not drop by that night to change his will and he reiterated that he would come by next Tuesday. Myrna was delighted because she was going to perform her first voodoo rite that night using her African drums and the scandalous mambo outfit she had to wear.

   That night Myrna begged Frank to at least be her witness even if he wouldn't play the sacred voodoo drum. Frank agreed to it and Myrna started playing the drum and dancing until the ground began to shake. She claimed that she had apparently used the wrong page of the book and used the Rite of Damballah instead of a fertility rite. The ground broke open and the Zombie rose from it. Myrna screamed for help and Frank had a heart attack and dropped dead to the ground dead. Myrna jumped the alleged Zombie, who took off his mask to reveal himself to be her secret lover Gideon Starr.

(Bizarre Adventures I#33/1) - Inside the house Myrna poured Gideon a poisoned drink and thanked him for helping her get rid of Frank and inherit nearly a million dollars. Gideon tossed his Amulet of Damballah into the fire and Myrna watched him drink the poison and drop dead as well. Moments later the real Zombie (Simon Garth) crashed through the window, drawn to the building by the Amulet of Damballah in the fire. At first Myrna believed him to be a friend of Gideon and offered to give him half of her inheritance, but she pulled a gun from a draw and shot the Zombie several times. When the Zombie didn't die she realized that he was the real deal and tried to use her Amulet of Damballah to gain control over him. She only realized that Gideon had given her the fake Amulet of Damballah when the Zombie crushed it with his hand. The Zombie then tossed her into the fireplace and then pulled the real Amulet of Damballah out of the fire. The Zombie left with both Amulets of Damballah while Myrna's corpse kept burning.

He got mad at her because she didn't even seem to care that he was dying, but she pressed him to support her outside interests. She had decided for him to make him live his last six months like he would live forever. Though he was still annoyed Frank went along. Inside the shop they were greeted by the owner Gideon Starr, who sold Myrna the Amulet of Damballah and a book containing voodoo rituals after telling her the story of the Zombie (Simon Garth), the creature once controlled by the Amulet of Damballah. Frank was amused and mocked the whole spiel and Gideon warned him not to mock such powerful items as the Amulet of Damballah. While Myrna paid Gideon Frank stormed off because he wanted to go back home and was not going to wait for Myrna any longer.

   Back home in Long Island Frank once again felt reassured of his decision to give half his money to his niece when Myrna ignored him after spending all her time reading the voodoo book. When Myrna asked him if Winston would come by that night to change the will Frank told her for a third time that he would not come by before next Tuesday. He walked off while Myrna told him that she would then perform her first voodoo ritual that night.

   That night she begged Frank to at least witness her performing the ritual when he refused to play the voodoo drum. He gave in to her seductive nature and watched her outside play the drum and dance in her skimpy mambo outfit. Affected by her dance his heart began to race and he asked her to stop when suddenly the ground beneath her feet began to crack open. He saw the Zombie emerge from the ground and had a heart attack when Myrna screamed for help. Frank dropped dead to the ground never learning that the Zombie was just Gideon Starr in disguise and part of Myrna's plan to get rid of him before he could change his will.

(Bizarre Adventures I#33/1 (fb) - BTS) - Gideon Starr owned his own occult curios shop. He concentrated in acquiring wiccan witchcraft items, but started to diversify and buy voodoo items as well when voodoo became popular. At some point he met occult enthusiast Myrna Lukaikas, who was married to Frank Lukaikas, and she started an affair with Gideon.

   Myrna made a plan with Gideon to kill her husband by scaring him to death after Frank decided to give half his money to his niece because he didn't believe Myrna even loved him. Gideon would pose as the Zombie (Simon Garth) while Myrna allegedly summoned him with a ritual and the Amulet of Damballah. Gideon agreed to help her because it would mean they would inherit nearly a million dollars together.

After introducing himself and Myrna claiming that she had never met him before Gideon showed them the Amulet of Damballah and Frank mocked the whole spiel. (Bizarre Adventures I#33/1 - BTS) - At Frank and Myrna's home in Long Island Gideon, dressed up as the Zombie, was buried by Myrna behind the house with a scuba tank full of oxygen. He started to suffocate when it took Myrna far too long to get Frank to join her as a witness at the ritual.

(Bizarre Adventures I#33/1) - Gideon as the Zombie finally rose from the ground during Myrna's performance and while she screamed for help Frank had a heart attack and dropped dead to the ground. Myrna then jumped Gideon, who took off his mask, and whined about nearly suffocating because it took Myrna so long to get Frank outside.

He tossed the Amulet of Damballah into the nearby fireplace and then gulped down his drink. He collapsed after wondering why Myrna wasn't drinking. While Gideon lay dead on the ground Myrna poured her drink on Gideon's face. Moments later the real Zombie (Simon Garth) crashed through the window. When Myrna tried to control the Zombie with the Amulet of Damballah she realized too late that she had the fake, plastic version and that Gideon had tossed the real Amulet of Damballah into the fire.
