History:
(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#519 (fb) - BTS) - Dr. Sheri Holman had a criminal history of doing illegal experiments on others.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#519 (fb) ) - Years ago, Holman was running experiments in the Amazon when a wounded Kraven the Hunter came upon her, and she restored him to health; he vowed to help her if she ever needed it.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#519 (fb) - BTS) - Holman set up shop in New York City. When lonely, Holman would go to a local bar to find companionship. She had a therapist that she opened up to about her life. She designed a group of mutated Simian Soldiers and sold them to the Taliban, but they were sent back.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#515 (fb) - BTS) - Nicolae Dinu contacted Dr. Holman, inviting her to take blood samples and data on his father, Vlad Dinu's, super-powers. Vlad initially received his powers during super-soldier experiments in Romania years before, giving him the power to convert matter to energy, and they were failing now. Holman began a romantic relationship with Nicolae, who wanted to steal his father's powers and take over Vlad's criminal organization.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#515 (fb) - BTS) - Dr. Holman operated on young Brian Fitzgerald, who had been wounded by Vlad the Impaler.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#515) - Dr. Holman delivered the news to Sofija and Okonkwo (secretly the Black Panther) that Brian had died on the operating table. Holman then met with Nicolae and informed him that Brian would be the perfect test subject for seeking to recreate Vlad's powers. When she flirted with Nicolae, Holman was rebuffed.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#516 (fb) - BTS) - Holman experimented on Brian for several days, giving him brain surgery to keep him under control as he learned to use his new kinetic energy super powers. She discovered that sometimes he knocked the power in the hospital out, and patients died as a result.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#516) - Nicolae came in and Dr. Holman showed him Brian's new powers by having Brian kill a rat. When the power flashed out and turned back on, Brian was gone.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#519 (fb) - BTS) - Calling in her favor, Dr. Holman sent out a message to Kraven the Hunter in the Savage Land, asking him to come to New York.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#518) - Holman asked Kraven the Hunter to seek out Brian Fitzgerald, not wanting him to be captured and tied back to her.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#519 (fb) ) - Holman told Kraven she had researched his condition, and she could help him die again if he chose to help her against the Black Panther.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#519 (fb) - BTS) - Suspecting Black Panther would come after Holman, Kraven instructed her to give Panther the wrong frequency if he tried tracking Kraven.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#520 (fb) - BTS) - Holman told Kraven he could control Brian's powers through physical touch.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#519) - After finding her bar and her therapist, Black Panther tracked down Holman, who was considering euthanizing a few failed experiments, including one she called Piranha-Boy. Holman tried sending the Simian Soldiers against Panther, but he hacked her passwords to put them back to rest, then he released Piranha-Boy, who cornered Holman as she held to a beam on the ceiling just out of reach. Holman reluctantly admitted that she had planted a tracking device in Brian, but she hadn't used it as he was too dangerous. Panther left her to fend for herself with Piranha-Boy while he rushed to find Brian.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#520 (fb) - BTS) - Holman escaped Piranha-Boy, then got him locked up again.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#520) - Kraven returned Brian to Holman, but the Black Panther and Storm were in pursuit. Panther convinced Kraven that Holman had been lying to him about helping him to die, then Storm dangled Holman over Piranha-Boy, allowing Holman to get bit before she agreed to help save Brian's life.

(Black Panther: The Man Without Fear#520 - BTS) - Holman saved Brian's life, stopping any brain damage, then she was presumably arrested. Panther and Storm had Kraven take Piranha-Boy and the Simian Soldiers to live in the Savage Land.
