History: (Exiles I#33 (fb)) - Following experimentation by the Weapon X Program, who also secretly installed a control chip in his adrenal gland, Logan was found wandering the woods in a crazed state and was captured for Alpha Flight's Project: Lazarus, in which Alpha Flight hoped to bring the so-called "Wild Man" back to reality. Dr. Heather Hudson worked with Logan for an entire month, eventually helping Logan regained his humanity. Logan soon began training with the other Alpha Flight members, eventually becoming the group's field leader. He soon befriended Dr. Hudson and became her lover, marrying her within a year's time.

(Exiles I#66 (fb) - BTS) - Heather Hudson kept a database of known superhumans with fast-healing abilities and included Wild Man (also called Wolverine) on the list.

(Exiles I#33 (fb)) - Two years later, however, the Weapon X Program activated the dormant adrenal gland chip, driving the Wild Man insane. Wild Man ultimately had to be killed by his own wife in her Sasquatch form and Heather mourned the Wild Man's death for years.

(Exiles I#58 - BTS) - When Heather Hudson became possessed by the spirit of the Great Beast Tanaraq while part of the reality-hopping Exiles team, her teammate Morph of Earth-1081 took the form of the Wild Man in an attempt to bring Heather back to reality.

Comments: Created by Judd Winick and Tom Mandrake.

This reality's Logan was referred to only as Logan when Heather Hudson flashbacked to her life with him so it was not stated that his real name was James Howlett like his Earth-616 counterpart, though it seems likely.

His height and weight were approximated from that of his Earth-616 counterpart, Wolverine.

Heather Hudson referred to Logan/Wild Man as "Wolverine" while discussing him with an alternate reality Dr. Strange in Exiles I#66. He was only called "Wild Man" in his only non-BTS appearance in Exiles I#33, however, so I have named the profile "Wild Man" with "Wolverine" listed as an alias. Perhaps Heather only referred to Logan as Wolverine to Dr. Strange because she was aware by that point, due to her experiences with the reality-hopping Exiles, that Logan was called Wolverine in most realities and figured Dr. Strange would recognize that name more...

Profile by Proto-Man.
