Powers/Abilities: Coyote possesses the same powers as Spot. Mutated by a machine and a connection to a dimension full of black spots that allow extradimensional transport, Coyote can use the black spots to create portals of various sizes, then he can pass through the portals through the dimension of spots and into another location, closing the spots behind him. Coyote is able to control a number of portals at the same time. Much like Spot, Coyote can use these portals to disorienting effect, passing arms and legs through for swift punches or kicks before drawing them back. He has used the portals in surprising ways, to drain the blood from a victim in a sealed room, to remove a skull from a corpse in a coffin and place it in a desk, and to place spots on the stomachs of pregnant women who could then sneak drugs across the border.

When Spot's power was being drained by a machine, Coyote was powered up and able to place control collars on the heads of dozens of victims, the collars containing black spots; while these victims' heads appeared to be severed and in a closet, he sent their bodies to work for various employers. When Coyote had these same collars placed on him, his powers were temporarily shorted out.

History:
(Daredevil III#21 (fb) ) - After Lady Bullseye (and presumably Ikari), both working for Bullseye, failed to turn Spot into a more threatening villain, they apprehended him and had the machine re-built that had originally given Spot his powers. They strapped him to the machine. They selected a greedy, creative, and smart smuggler as their operative, exposed him to the machine, changing him into the Coyote and gave him greater control over his powers by slowly draining Spot's powers over time.

(Daredevil III#21 (fb) - BTS) - Lady Bullseye and her partner began giving Coyote orders, telling him to target drug import and assassinate rival drug lords, and to torture Daredevil, who had been outed as Matt Murdock.

(Daredevil III#20 (fb) - BTS) - Considering himself a contractor, Coyote began taking assignments for money, though rather than simply teleport things in for others, he preferred to use creative solutions. He helped a Kurdish warlord sneak weapons over the border by using closed tunnels underground (running those over with a car, who tried to flee the country through the tunnel), and he worked for a massive drug syndicate by placing teleportation holes on the stomachs of pregnant women, allowing them to carry massive stashes of drugs over the border. Coyote was ordered by the cartel to eliminate some of their competition in New York City. In Coyote's most massive enterprise, he began strapping teleportation collars onto the bodies of human trafficking victims, keeping their heads seemingly severed while their bodies were put to work in diamond mines, in armies, doing sharecropping, and in prostitution. The collars kept Coyote's victims docile, and they were powered up by the machine that Spot remained strapped to. Coyote kept the severed heads in a closet and fed them daily.

(Daredevil III#16 (fb) - BTS) - Coyote transported the skull and boxing gloves off the corpse of Jack Murdock into Matt Murdock's desk, seeking to drive the hero mad.

(Daredevil III#18 (fb) - BTS) - Coyote drained all of the blood from drug kingpin Victor Hierra's body from afar. Nurse Adele Santiago was arrested for the murder, and her brother, Mr. Santiago, later secured the legal help of Foggy Nelson to represent her in court, as she'd been appointed corrupt lawyer Robert Ranney. Coyote then teleported Milla Donovan (Matt's estranged wife) from her hospital room directly into Matt Murdock's home, messing with Murdock even more.

(Daredevil III#18 - BTS) - After Matt found Milla at home and later left, Coyote teleported Milla back to the hospital, causing Matt to later wonder if he was going mad. Then Coyote hit more men in Hierra's organization from afar, killing them all, including Jardiem Salazar (who'd just put a hit out on Womack) and Benny.

(Daredevil III#19) - Coyote stole Daredevil's billy club, messing with the hero further. Later, he killed more drug dealers, including Anthony Tortino, and he captured Daredevil, using a collar to separate the hero's head from his body.

(Daredevil III#20) - While carrying Daredevil's severed head around, Coyote boasted about his recent criminal plans, while Daredevil's body stumbled about and found the Spot machine. Daredevil managed to shut it down and return all of the human trafficking victims to the base, then he placed his own collar on Coyote, who screamed in pain as his powers were blocked.

(Daredevil III#21) - As Spot freed himself, Coyote screamed for help from Daredevil, admitting the truth of his own origin. Daredevil forced Coyote to admit his crimes in front of his victims, then he drained Spot's powers by using all of the control collars. Both Spot and Coyote suddenly teleported away. Daredevil and the victims dug out of Coyote's underground base in Arizona.

(Amazing Spider-Man: Going Big#1/1 (fb) - BTS) - Coyote got involved in human and sex trafficking. When reporter Kristy Watson came looking, Coyote trapped her in the spot dimension.

(Amazing Spider-Man: Going Big#1/1) - As Coyote escorted a truck-full of victims to New Jersey, Spider-Man attacked, forcing Coyote to free Kristy before Spidey defeated Coyote and his men, leaving them strung up with webs. As Spidey got the trafficking victims to safety, Punisher approached Coyote and his men with guns drawn.

(Ravencroft#4) - Coyote was among the prisoners released from Ravencroft by the Unwanted.
