History: (Avengers VI#7 (fb) - BTS) - The Susan Storm Camp for Girls' Leadership was established by Susan Storm.

(Avengers VI#7) - When strange supernatural events began occurring in New York, Iron Man (Victor von Doom) traced the trouble to the Susan Storm Camp and but dared not enter its grounds despite wishing it not to be destroyed or shut down. Instead, Doom recruited the Avengers to assist and after requesting their help, teleported the entire team to the Susan Storm Camp before the Avengers even knew why Iron Man needed their help. Revealing the Camp and the reasoning as to why he did not want to enter it himself, Doom explained that something rotten was going on within the Camp and suggested that the Wasp, who was age-appropriate to fit in with the counselors there, investigate the Camp for him. After mystically altering Wasp's clothing to fit in and explaining that he would remain in communication via spells, Doom sent Wasp into the Camp to find out the source of the evil magic Iron Man had sensed there. Becoming friendly with the other Camp attendees, Wasp eventually saw a group of girls sitting in a circle inside one of the cabins and reported her suspicions of the origins of the evil magic before entering the cabin, claiming to be interested in what the girls were doing. When the girls attempted to sacrifice Nadia, she summoned the rest of the Avengers and Iron Man, prompting the girls to reveal themselves as the Champions of Anamelech. A fierce battle ensued and eventually, Iron Man managed to banish Anamelech's influence from the camp by projecting the Flames of the Faltine through Nadia's Pym Particle Projectors. With the Champions of Anamelech defeated, the Susan Storm Camp for Girls' Leadership was saved.
