History:

(Spidey Super Stories#57/4 (fb) - BTS) - Upton and Fargo North were brothers, although Upton had a very good reputation as a detetctive that daunted Fargo (who had a similar profession as a clue decoder). As a result, Fargo kept quiet about being related.

(Spidey Super Stories#57/4) - Asked by the police to help with another case, Upton North chanced upon the Electric Studios and looked up his brother, hoping he could help. But Fargo felt foolish compared to his brother and so declined. Fargo's friends (Easy Reader, Jennifer of the Jungle, Paul the Gorilla, Rita the director and Spider-Man) encouraged Fargo to help his brother, so Fargo caught up with Upton inspecting a clue. Spider-Man secretly followed to keep an eye. Upton and Fargo were caught in a trap, falling into a pit while the robbers escaped. Spidey rescued the North brothers. Fargo came up with an idea to catch the crooks, somehow getting the Daily Bugle newspaper to print a headline the next day claiming Fargo had won money. The three robbers fell for the trap and attacked the brothers, but Fargo's friends pulled at Spider-Man's wide web like a net and caught them. Upton declared Fargo was his equal as a detetctive, but also that Fargo had provided him with friends.

(Spidey Super Stories#57/6) - Fargo told a funny riddle to Upton while in the library.

Upton North has no counterpart on Earth-616/Prime, but I think it would be great if there were and he was related to Dakota North, the private investigator. (Or maybe Dakota North is the Earth-616 counterpart of Upton North? :D )
