History: (Ghost Rider VI#8 (fb) - BTS) - Archie Faulkner moved his family to Sleepy Hollow, Illinois to get away from all of the crime that ran rampant in other cities.

(Ghost Rider VI#8) -  Archie and several other men met at the Sleepy Hollow country club and gossiped about events they were watching on the news involving the criminal Jack O'Lantern, who had perished in New York. When one of the men asked if Jack O'Lantern's Sleepy Hollow resident parents had the funeral yet, Archie replied that the funeral had been the week prior but that the event was kept out of the newspapers to avoid unwanted attention. Archie then continued, pointing out the news story about the death of town resident Cameron Fillardi and how he had moved to Sleepy Hollow to get away from crime. Archie was calmly warned by one of the other club regulars that he should watch what he said about Cameron since Cameron was police Capt. Harry O'Connor's godson. When Archie and his country club pals later stumbled upon the rough-looking Johnny Blaze, who was covered in blood, Archie phoned Harry O'Connor, who asked that Archie and his friends keep Blaze there until he could arrive. Once O'Connor arrived, Archie followed Harry and Blaze into a country club locker room, where Harry O'Connor asked Archie if he could have a "private conversation" with Blaze. Once Archie had left the room, O'Connor yelled for Blaze to drop the weapon despite Blaze not having a weapon, then beat Blaze with a golfclub while Archie and his pals listened at the door. Hearing O'Connor's beating of Blaze, Archie commented to the others that he thought Harry might kill Blaze.

Comments: Created by Daniel Way, Javier Saltares and Mark Texeira.

Archie Faulkner's eyes appeared to be brown but it is up to interpretation as his glasses made the color difficult to determine.

Since it was not clear which of Archie's friends was Dickie, I chose an image of both of the friends.

Harry O'Connor refers to Archie as "Len" once in Ghost Rider VI#8. It's very possible that the third country club member (aside from Dickie and Archie himself) was named Len but it's also possible that Len might be Archie's middle name or something....

Dickie

Dickie was a friend of Archie Faulkner's and a member of the Sleepy Hollow, Illinois country club. Known for always hitting his golfball to the left on the country club's sixth hole, Dickie did so shortly after the murder of Cameron Fillardi. When he went to retrieve the ball, Dickie found Johnny Blaze in the bushes, covered in blood and with no identification. Dickie and another club patron cautiously watched Blaze, threatening him with their golfclubs, as Archie Faulkner phoned Sheriff Harry O'Connor, who asked that they hold Blaze there until he could arrive. Once Harry had arrived, Dickie listened outside of a country club locker room with Archie and their friend while O'Connor beat Blaze with a golfclub.
