Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Air-Cruiser was a vehicle capable of flight via VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) technology. It could house at least five passengers.

History

(Avengers I#57) – While tracking down the Vision’s villianous master Ultron, the Avengers and Vision flew to Ultron’s tenement headquarters in their latest aircraft, a presumably modified Aero-Car that was called the Air-Cruiser. Touching down on the roof of the tenement headquarters, the Avengers left the Air-Cruiser to venture inside the tenement.

(Official Marvel Index to the Avengers I#3 (fb) - BTS) – The Air-Cruiser was likely replaced by or remodeled into a Quinjet.

The Air-Cruiser’s status as a possibly modified Aero-Car was mentioned in the Official Marvel Index to the Avengers I#3 and further mentioned in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z HC Vol. 1. The Official Marvel Index to the Avengers I#3 mentioned that the Air-Cruiser was part of a series of general aircraft improvements by the Avengers which soon resulted in the Aerocraft and almost immediately after, the finalized Quinjets. It also mentioned that the Air-Cruiser was probably replaced or remodeled into a Quinjet.
