Advocates enter Danger RoomHistory:

(Uncanny X-Men I#444 - BTS) - After manifesting their powers, the six mutant teens who would make up the Advocates enrolled at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. There, they were selected to join one of the special training squads, each mentored by one of the X-Men. They were placed on the Advocates, led by Rogue.

(Uncanny X-Men I#444) - While giving her students a tour around the mansion's underground complex, Rogue brought the Advocates to the Danger Room where she had booked a special training session with them. However, the doors were still locked because Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Storm had taken the liberty of scheduling an impromptu session for themselves. Rogue and her students made their way to the upstairs control booth and Danger Room where they were astonished to witness the experienced X-Men tear through hordes of Sentinels.

(Uncanny X-Men I#445) - While checking the global news regarding the X.S.E.'s failed attempt at rescuing troubled mutant teenager Tommy Reichert, Sage also witnessed Boggart and Pinpoint training.

Advocates knocked out with sleeping gas

(Uncanny X-Men I#446) - In order to test the X-Men Jamie Braddock created a Fury facsimile which managed to take over Sage via cybernetic linkage. Now under the control of the facsimile Sage saw the remaining residents of the Xavier Institute as potential hostile contacts activation the intruder systems causing the mansion to flood with sleeping gas. Rogue and the Advocates were among those seen unconscious, taken out by the sleeping gas.

(Decimation: House of M - The Day After#1) - Following the depowering of most mutants Husk called Aurelie's mother to inform her that Aurelie had lost her powers.

Comments: Created by Chris Claremont (writer) Alan Davis (pencils), Mark Farmer (inks).

Chris Claremont never got around to naming the Advocates' members and powers on panel. That information was disclosed in the Xavier's Institute entry in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe HC#13.

Loki's info on the codenames:
Boggart's codename is the name of a malevolent type of elf or ogre from English folklore, which might suggest that he is English.

Naiad has another appearance, bts, in Decimation: House of M The Day After. A Naiad is a water nymph, tying to her powers.

Trovão is the Portuguese word for Thunder, which fits with his sonic boom power. Given his real name is Pedro de Noli, he is presumably either from Portugal or Brazil (there are other countries that speak Portuguese, ex-colonies of Portugal, but those are the two where people still tend to have recognisably Portuguese names).

Umbra's codename is Latin, and means shadow, which ties to his darkness control.

Xenon is a noble gas, and is used in flash lamps, arc lamps and lasers, which ties to his ability to generate light. Concerning his real name: Shaun Kennedy is named after a friend of mine.
