History: (Avengers Assemble#1 - Whiz Kid (fb) - BTS) - Gifted with superhuman speed abilities, Whiz Kid found inspiration in 1940s hero the Whizzer and opted to use her powers for the benefit of others.

(She-Hulk I#11 (fb) - BTS) - Whiz Kid joined the Speedster's Union.

(She-Hulk I#11/Avengers Assemble#1 - Whiz Kid (fb) - BTS) - Whiz Kid was hired by the law firm of Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway (GLK&H). Placed in GLK&H's mail room as supervisor for her fellow Speedster's Union members Momenta and Zig-Zag, Whiz Kid saw that it was agreed upon by her employers that they not be placed in harms way.

(She-Hulk I#4) - Whiz Kid delivered an urgent notice to GLK&H attorney Jennifer Walters (She-Hulk) and her cilent Spider-Man regarding police reports indicating the Scorpion (Gargan) and a horde of Spider-Slayers were en route to attack them.

(She-Hulk I#11) - Whiz Kid delivered an inter-office memo to lawyer Mallory Book.
Later, when Titania began demolishing the GLK&H offices, Whiz Kid and her fellow mail room speedsters were tasked to evacuate the building.

(She-Hulk II#20 (fb) - BTS) - Whiz Kid saw her GLK&H co-worker Stu Cicero (secretly shape-changing process server Ditto) come into work.

(She-Hulk II#20) - Responding to a call for a pick-up in Florida, Whiz Kid tracked the caller's cell phone GPS locator learning the call was from Cicero. Surprised to see him miles from New York City, Whiz Kid learned that he'd been sent to another dimension by their boss Artie Zix (RT-Z9) and replaced by a double. Whiz Kid gave Cicero a piggy-back ride to New York.

(Avengers: The Iniative Annual#1/Avengers Assemble#1 - Whiz Kid (fb) - BTS) - Following the passage of the Superhuman Registration Act, Whiz Kid enrolled with the 50-state Initiative and was assigned to Pennsylvania's Liberteens.

(Avengers: The Iniative Annual#1 (fb)) - The Liberteens confronted Flag-Smasher and his ULTIMATUM forces as they attempted to desecrate the Liberty Bell. While 2-D stopped Flag-Smasher from destroying the Liberty Bell, Whiz Kid rounded up several ULTIMATUM troops, using one of her stretchy-teammate's arms to tie them up. The remaining ULTIMATUM forces were stopped by the Revolutionary, Blue Eagle, Hope, and Iceburg, while Flag-Smasher was bested with a single punch from Ms. America.

(Avengers: The Iniative Annual#1) - Celebrating their victory and favorable press coverage, the Liberteens (save the straight-laced Revolutionary) enjoyed a night of drinking and dancing at their headquarters, Liberty's Lair; Whiz Kid took advantage of the partying to get better acquainted with 2-D.

(Avengers: The Iniative#18) - As the Skrull invasion led by Queen Veranke raged on, the Revolutionary revealed himself a Skrull infiltrator and began attacking his teammates. Aided by the Skrull Kill Krew and other Initiative heroes, the Revolutionary was killed when Gravity dropped diamond-hard Hope onto his chest.
Accompanying the Skrull Kill Krew and their Initiative allies to Georgia, Whiz Kid stayed out of the way while Ultra-Girl (of Georgia's Initiative team the Cavalry) fought her teammate Thor-Girl. Not knowing which of the two was the Skrull infiltrator, both were shot out of the sky before 3-D Man identified Thor Girl as the Skrull and subsequently killed her. Learning from Ant-Man that the Skrulls planned to use the Initiative team headquarters to create a portal to the Negative Zone, Whiz Kid and fellow speedsters Non-Stop and Spinner were tasked with taking explosives to preemptively destroy.

(Avengers: The Iniative#19) - After bringing down Liberty's Lair, Whiz Kid met up with Spinner who told her the headquarters of Illinois team the Spaceknights was taken care of. While Spinner carried on to Hawaii and the HQ of the Point-Men, Whiz Kid travelled back to Initiative training-ground, Camp Hammond. Reuniting with the the Initiative and Kill Krew forces, and confronting the Skrulls responsible for the Negative Zone doomsday device, Whiz Kid used her speed powers to disperse a cloud of poisonous gas, apparently sacrificing herself in the process.

Whiz Kid received a half-page profile in the Avengers Assemble handbook.

As per her work agreement with GLK&H, Whiz Kid and her fellow speedsters were assured they would not be placed in dangerous situations since some superhumans with speed powers bleed out quickly as well. It's unrevealed if Whiz Kid's powers affected her in this way, but is unlikely given her later status as a registered superhero (which would place her in harm's way on a regular basis). Additionally, this affliction goes unmentioned in her handbook profile as directly affecting her, so it's more likely she was concerned for Momenta or Zig-Zag, neither of which apparently enrolled with the Initiative.

Despite being a member of the Liberteens, it's unclear if Whiz Kid is still a teenager herself. Her handbook profile notes she's a high school graduate, which, coupled with her prior employment status, indicates she was probably the "elder" statesman of her team.

Momenta

(She-Hulk I#11 (fb) - BTS) - A member of the Speedster's Union, Momenta was hired to work for the law firm of Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway, working alongside fellow speedsters Whiz Kid and Zig-Zag. A condition of their employment stated that Momenta and her co-workers would not be placed in harm's way due to the excessive bleeding some speedsters suffer when injured.

(She-Hulk I#11) - When the GLK&H offices were under attack by Titania, Momenta and the other speedsters were summoned to the senior partners' office to begin evacuating the building. With the building cleared within seconds, Momenta and Zig-Zag carefully brought out injured lawyer Mallory Book.
