Powers/Abilities:  The Wizard was a genius-level scientist and prodigious inventor, all of whose powers stemmed from technological devices. He created the weaponry used by his Warriors (much of it similar to things he himself, and his cohort the Trapster, had used in the past). Crippled in some unspecified event, he was confined to an advanced hover-chain, shown to be capable of travel through the void of space. His Radical Transdimensional Teleporter device enabled him to transfer himself, and others, to the Negative Zone.

History:

(Fantastic Five I#2 (fb) - BTS) < years before main story >- In some unrevealed event, the Wizard was crippled, in circumstances he blamed on Reed Richards. The Wizard then disappeared, not to be heard from for several years.

(Fantastic Five I#2) - The Wizard sent his team, the Warriors, to steal the Superoid, a combat android designed by Dr. Lenny Gilcrest for SHIELD, so that it could be sold to the highest bidder. While attempting to do so, they battled the Fantastic Five, and Dominator used her psionic helmet to project a force field around Big Brain, cutting the robot off from Reed Richard's control transmissions, and temporarily rendering it inert. After the Superoid was destroyed, the Warriors retreated to their NYC base. There, the Wizard, confined to his hover-chair, swore revenge on his true target, Reed Richards, whom he blamed for crippling him; furthermore, he revealed that he had used the information gained from interfering with Big Brain's signals to locate Reed's base in the Negative Zone.

(Fantastic Five I#3) - The Wizard and his Warriors continued to monitor the transmissions from Big Brain. The Wizard revealed his belief that the robot did not truly house the brain of Reed Richards, but rather was a remote-operated drone, with Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman (then believed deceased) both still alive. He then dispatched all of his team, except for Dominator, to take Franklin Richards (Psi-Lord) hostage. While the Warriors battled Psi-Lord and Spider-Girl, the Wizard prepared his Radical Transdimensional Teleporter (the "Radi-Port"), which would follow the Big Brain signals and transport the villains to Reed's Negative Zone base, the Fantastistation. When the plan to capture Psi-Lord failed, and the other Warriors were captured, the Wizard and Dominator donned space suits and teleported into the Zone, where they entered the station.

(Fantastic Five I#4) - When the Fantastic Five arrived at the Fantastistation, they found that Dominator and the Wizard had already been easily subdued and held captive by the automated security systems. Reed Richards declared that he intended to imprison them in "cold storage."

Comments: Created by Tom DeFalco, Paul Ryan, and Al Milgrom.

It has been claimed (see Master List) that Dominator is the daughter of the Wizard, but nothing in the issues supports this. While he calls her "my dear" a few times, she refers to him as "Master" and "Sir" in a decidedly non-daughter-like manner. Does anyone have a reference for this information, or is it spurious? - OmegaTherion
