Powers/Abilities: The Super-Sentry was a master-version of the Kree intergalactic robot guardians known as the Sentries. It responded only to the Supreme Intelligence's orders. It was approximately 5 meters tall and was composed of alien materials which made it highly resistant to injury. Its strength was Superhuman (Class 50) and it could generate various form of energy he could use for defense (for example the energy shield which protected Mar-Vell in the outer space and in the Hyper-Space) or for offense (for example the Ion Bolts). The Super-Sentry could teleport itself and other beings or objects, accessing the Hyper-Space, then going back to normal spacial plane, so covering distances of light-years in few minutes. The Super-Sentry could also fly.

History: (Captain Marvel I#16 (fb) - BTS) - The legend about the existence of the Super-Sentry was spread when Mar-Vell was young and before, yet. The Kree believed that it was employed only in the cases when the Empire itself was threatened.

The Supreme Intelligence, having discovered the treacherous plot built by Zarek and Ronan to take the leadership of the Kree, sent the Super-Sentry to the city of Rad-Nam to save Captain Mar-Vell from the trap set up by Ronan the Accuser.

(Captain Marvel I#16) - The Super-Sentry arrived just in time to save Mar-Vell. It intercepted the lethal ray blasted by Ronan's weapon and claimed him stripped of all power. Ronan negated the robot's order, and blasted it again at full power but the bolt backlashed and Ronan teleported away, leaving the Sentry totally unscarred.
The Super-Sentry then teleported Mar-Vell and itself to Kree-Lar, to the Hall of Judgment in front of the Supreme Intelligence. There, the robot stood motionless while the Supreme Intelligence accused Zarek of his traitor crimes. Ronan interrupted the judgment projecting a Negatron Sphere in the Hall and extending his protective aura to Zarek. The Super-Sentry shot Ion-Bolts at full-strength but the two criminals escaped thanks to Ronan's teleport. The Negatron Sphere exploded without harming anybody, and Mar-Vell underwent a change and to his new red/blue costume with the Nega-Bands, under the eyes of the Super-Sentry and the Supreme Intelligence.

Comments: Created by Archie Goodwin (writer), Don Heck (pencils), Syd Shores (inks).

The Supreme Intelligence claimed that the Hall of Judgment was so safe that it could neutralize even the most advanced weapon, such as the Negatron Sphere. Ronan's Universal Weapon and the Super-Sentry's Ion Bolts were regularly functioning.
The Super-Sentry had a pentagonal shape on the chest!

I used the Super-Sentry in the alternate future of the Cosmic Avengers (Earth-90110).

CLARIFICATIONS:
The Super-Sentry is strictly connected to but is different from

and has no known connections to

Negatron Sphere

The Negatron sphere was a very advanced radioactive bomb which employed a core of anti-matter.

It was used by Ronan, hurled in the Hall of Judgment. It should have disintegrated the whole Hall, but the Hall itself was equipped to neutralize even the most advanced weapons, so the explosion of the bomb didn't even hurt Captain Mar-Vell, who had covered the bomb with his body, to protect the Supreme Intelligence.
