Her zombies were incapable of clear speech and were subject to her wishes. When Sathan was killed, her zombies fell dead and others who she had drained life from were restored. Sathan was injected with an explosive implant that could be triggered from afar.

(Daredevil Annual I#7 (fb) - BTS) - The woman who would become Sathan was kidnapped from a poor housing unit in Hell's Kitchen by Hydra. They subjected her to a super-soldier experiment, turning her into a feline life-energy vampire. Sathan was injected with an explosive implant that could be triggered from afar. Other mutated humans included Guillotine and Romulus.

(Daredevil Annual I#7/1) - Sathan, Guillotine, and Romulus broke out of their holding tanks at the Hydra Genetics Laboratory #5, attacking the surrounding Hydra agents. They each went their own way, though Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker sent Hydra assassins after them. Crippler was sent after Sathan, and he continually referred to her as Cat-Chick.

(Daredevil Annual I#7/2) - When Sathan got back to her old tenement home, she found her building on fire, set by an arsonist called Darius. She revived a few of the dead victims there to serve her whims. Daredevil (Matt Murdock) rushed in to save any victims of the fire and Sathan attacked him, draining just a portion of his life before realizing he wasn't the firestarter, then she rushed off, vowing to make the true villains pay. She brought back other tenement fire victims and created a small army, planning on using these zombies against Furman, the owner of the tenements who had hired the arsonist. She led the zombies against Furman's car, breaking through the windshield and draining the life from chauffer Thomas, as the zombies overturned the car. Daredevil and Crippler attacked, making Sathan furious. Sathan quickly climbed the fire escape of the building as Daredevil chased her, and when he punched her, she drained a portion of his life. The zombies grabbed torches and surrounded Furman, who was trapped in the car, so Daredevil, severely weakened, rushed to save him. Crippler then shot Sathan in her elbow and knee and she crashed to the ground as Daredevil saved Furman. As Nick Fury arrived to help her, Strucker exploded Sathan's head from afar, using the implant she'd been given. Her zombies fell dead again and Daredevil's life force was restored.

Her powers and the fact that she was mutated by Hydra smells like the work of Hydra's Department of Occult Armaments.
