History:

(Doctor Strange Annual III#4/2 (fb) - BTS) - Lalla was part of the resistance fighters in the Dark Dimension led by the Supreme Adept, Clea, former ruler of the Dark Dimension. After the War of the Seven Spheres, the Dark Dimension was besieged by another former ruler Dormammu and various supernatural factions, such as Slorioth, Fatalis, and the Trinity of Ashes, all vying for power. Only a small band of freedom fighters remained to try and protect the citizens of the Dark Dimension and to try and liberate it from potential dictators. Lalla joined the freedom fighters led by Ral Rimba, their forces twenty strong. After the deadly battle at Rimbus, newcomer Rei (secretly Clea) joined their forces. However, after the battle at the Gorge of Transubstantiation, Ral Rimba and many others were killed, leaving only six fighters. Lalla took the lead of the others and they planned to continue the fight.

(Doctor Strange Annual III#4/2) - Lalla led the other five, including Sharr and Rei, across the battle fields, carrying a casting rod, which could repel minor mystic attacks. She stopped and used the Telling Stone that she wore between her breasts to receive a communication from Clea, who informed them that the mystic Muuro was still alive and held captive in Dormammu's citadel. Clea planned to launch a major offensive while Sharr's small group worked to liberate Muuro to their side. Lalla informed the group that they would likely all die in this mission, but they all agreed to fight still. They gathered at Dormammu's citadel and saw many corpses at its' gates and Dormammu's remaining soldiers, though there were only a few. Lalla told Sharr to take Rei and infiltrate the citadel while she and the other three provided a small distraction. Lalla and the others overwhelmed some of the guards with Vortex Gems, which uncreated those trapped within them after the lattice in the gem was broken. Lalla and the others used their casting rods to hold off the guards' mystic attacks. Soon all but Lalla had been killed, and Sharr watched as she was brutally murdered in a mystic attack, her body folded in on itself.
