History:

(Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E.#6 (fb) - BTS) - The Highest Anti-Terrorism Effort (H.A.T.E.), a subsidiary of the Beyond Corporation (secretly a terrorist cell), devised various Bizarre Weapons of Mass Destruction and sought to test them. These weapons included Homicide Crabs.

(Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E.#6) - Monica Rambeau dispatched the Pteromen sent by H.A.T.E.'s Director, Dirk Anger, from his flying Aeromarine. She landed on the flying craft. Enraged, Anger unleashed the Homicide Crabs against her. The small creatures stuck to the hull as they crawled toward her. She was able to blast many of them but when they threatened to overwhelm her through sheer numbers, she rocketed away. However, the Homicide Crabs blasted after her on rear-mounted jets, pursuing her into the air. She continued firing at them. However, Anger stood down H.A.T.E.'s assault against the Nextwave team and the Crab attack was ended.

Comments: Created by Warren Ellis (writer), Stuart Immonen (pencils) and Wade Von Grawbadger (inks).

   These could be robots or possibly enhanced crabs with assorted cyborg attachments. Bizarre indeed.

Homicide Crabs have no known connections to:

• Crab, Atlantean, obese female member of School @ Marvel Comics Presents I#12/4
• Crab Truck, truck with giant pincers used in theft, easily dismantled by the Thing @ Marvel Comics Presents I#94/3
• or any other "Homicide" or "Crab" characters
