History: (She-Hulk I#5 (fb)) - At some point in her criminal career, Figment was captured, shrunk with Pym particles, and placed in the miniature prison known as "The Big House".

(She-Hulk I#5) - The Mad Thinker enlisted Figment in an escape scheme, along with a number of other prisoners.  While the Scorpion was mauled by a Vermin-summoned rat, the Sandman hid the escapees, while Figment remained behind and cast an illusion of the other prisoners returning to their cells.

SECRET WARS III HAPPENED

(King in Black: Thunderbolts#2 (fb) - BTS) - Mr. Fear slept on Figment's couch for two months, but she never saw his face outside of his mask.

(King in Black: Thunderbolts#2) - Figment was in Ravencroft when Mr. Fear arrived, a part of the new Thunderbolts team, and Fear spoke to her through her cell door. When the symbiotes attacked, Figment, Mr. Hyde, Foolkiller, Grizzly, and Man-Bull fled with the new Thunderbolts (Batroc, Mr. Fear, Star, Taskmaster) in a bus, and they went to find the corpse of the Sentry, which contained energy in it that could potentially harm the symbiotes and their leader, Knull.

(King in Black: Thunderbolts#3) – When Fisk tried to betray the team, they had Figment cast a massive illusion that made it seem as though Taskmaster betrayed the Thunderbolts and the rest died while blowing up the bridge to save the city. The Thunderbolts soon returned to confront the Kingpin, still with the corpse of the Sentry, and they blackmailed him for money and made plans to stay together as a team.

Comments: Created by Dan Slott, Paul Pelletier, and Wayne Faucher.

I'll just assume Figment is a magic user.  She looks magic-y.

The Mad Thinker promised that Figment would be handsomely compensated for assisting in the breakout, but given that he turned out to be an android, and was subsequently demolished by Awesome Andy, she probably shouldn't hold her breath.
