Powers/Abilities: Neosaurus described itself as the "galaxy's most magnificent artificial brain" and moved about by means of turquoise-colored cold-blooded reptilian humanoid exo-bodies. These exo-bodies also had four-fingered hands (including thumb) and large bulbous glowing yellow eyes. They used an Imperial Flight Patch to "fly". These exo-bodies had artificial brains wired into the body with intricate wiring and purple "blood" (coolant). The exo-bodies favored warmer climates.

It is unknown if Neosaurus' other exo-bodies matched the one slain by Wolverine, but it seems probable.

Height: 4'6"
Weight: 82 lbs.

Neosaurus likes it hotHistory: (New X-Men I#124 - BTS) - The Shi'ar Empress, Lilandra, her mind controlled by the villainous Cassandra Nova, who inhabited Charles Xavier's body, arrived in lower Earth orbit with a team of Superguardians, including Neosaurus, under the leadership of Gladiator. Cassandra Nova used Lilandra to enforce the power of the Imperial Superguardian Elite to attack the X-Men, using a lie that the mutants were infected and had to be exterminated.

(New X-Men I#124) - As part of the Injection Team against the X-Men, Neosaurus floated above the Xavier Institute's empty gardens alongside Arc, Manta and Oracle. Neosaurus reported back Lilandra's Superdestroyer that the intelligence gathered by fellow Superguardian, Stuff, appeared to be accurate. Neosuarus then questioned if it needed to be there at all as it was so cold. Neosaurus then landed softly on the ground but was instantly targeted by a hidden Wolverine. The mutant attacked, smashing the Superguardian's jaw apart, pushing its brain out, thereby killing the reptilian exo-body.

Wolverine, wearing the Imperial Flight Patch he had taken from Neosaurus, smashed through an upper window, slashing at Blimp and Schism, severely rupturing Blimp's suit. Gladiator very soon burst through the wall and confirmed that one of Neosaurus' exo-bodies had indeed been killed.

(War of Kings: Who Will Rule?#1) - Under Mentor's lead several Imperial Guard members (Astra, Black Light, Earthquake, Fang, Hussar, Impulse, Neosaurus, Neutron, Plutonia, Schism, Smasher, Squorm, Starbolt, Titan, Warstar) attended Lilandra's funeral. In front of the Inhuman Royal Family Mentor declared the Imperial Guard rulers of the Shi'ar Empire. Medusa attacked Mentor and Smasher, causing a big brawl between the Inhumans and the Imperial Guard. Gladiator hit the ground with a devastating punch, knocking out everyone around him, and asked everyone present to show some resepect for Lilandra. Crystal then gave Gladiator the sceptre and asked him to rule the Shi'ar Empire. The Imperial Guard bowed before him, accepting his rule.

Comments: Created by Grant Morrison (writer) and Igor Kordey (artist).

If Neosaurus, in whatever actual form it took, was onboard Lilandra's Superdestroyer and controlled an exo-body remotely, then it was destroyed when Cassandra Nova made the spaceship explode. Alternatively, it may have been housed within each exo-body on missions, and may have survived and returned to the Shi'ar Galaxy later in New X-Men I#133.
