Powers/Abilities: He possessed the normal powers and weaknesses of a vampire. As a vampire he possessed low natural telepathic abilities which where enhanced by a helmet provided to him by Silvereye. With the helmet he could easily control others by sending false memories and thoughts directly into their brains. Unfortunately the telepathic control only worked over a short distance and there was the possibility that his target broke free of his control.
History:
(Blade: Vampire Hunter II##1 - BTS) - Freak flew with a Silverfang unit to the cemetery where Blade was buried.
(Blade: Vampire Hunter II#2) - He was brought out to deal with Blade and succeeded where Silverfang failed. Freak telepathically told Blade that Silvereye was created by him and that they were all recruited by him after Blade went to the president to oppose the growing vampire menace. Blade believed the lies sent into his brain and willingly followed Freak into Silverfang's vessel.
(Blade: Vampire Hunter II#2 - BTS) - Under Freak's control Blade was brought to Silvereye's HQ Blackeye 1.
(Blade: Vampire Hunter II#3) - Controlled by Freak Blade fought his allies Mikado and Mosha. Freak ordered him to kill them, but Blade didn't follow the order because the thirst for blood hit him. So Freak ordered him to drink Mikado's blood to still his thirst.
(Blade: Vampire Hunter II#4) - Freak repeatedly told Blade to drink Mikado's blood, but first Patriot stopped him and then Blade stopped because he began to remember his past and smelled Frost (this was triggered by Mikado when she called out for a mother; read Hrolf's profile to learn why Blade smelled Frost). Freak tried to regain control over Blade by telling him that Hrolf was his friend and the twins where his enemies, but Blade resisted and killed Freak with a knife through the heart. Freak fell to the ground and went up in flames.

This series occurred after Blade was bitten by Morbius in Peter Parker: Spider-Man II#8.
The helmet he wore was probably created by S.H.I.E.L.D. technicians because Silvereye was a S.H.I.E.L.D. sub-division.
It was first revealed that Freak was a vampire when his fangs were seen in Blade: Vampire Hunter II#3 while ordering Blade to drink Mikado's blood. I'm pretty sure that Darius Venginian (the vampire responsible for Silvereye's creation) had something to do with Freak's Silvereye membership.
In Blade III#12 a prophecy was fulfilled that
brought back all vampires that ever died. This most likely included
Freak as well. We'll have to wait if he resurfaces.
