The Troll stops Red SonjaHistory: (Conan the Barbarian I#241 (fb) - BTS) - Lord El-Ron put the Troll at guard of a bridge on a river. The Troll collected a tax from any waylander, merchant and inhabitant of the nearby lands who crossed the bridge. Those who paid the tax received a mark (probably magic) on his person that would have let him pass through the Demon-Guardians of Zukala Castle.

The Troll is wounded but he doesn't die(Conan the Barbarian I#241) - One day, a lady walked through the bridge without paying but the Troll, hidden under the bridge, ambushed her and tried to punish her, but he was stopped by Conan the Barbarian. The Troll decided that the warrior had to die, too, for not having paid the tax. Soon a fight started. Despite the charge of the warrior, the Troll pushed rider and mount on the border of the bridge, crushing the banister and easily throwing them in the river. He followed the Cimmerian who slashed him twice without any effect, then lifted the warrior by his head to break his spine. Conan wriggled out but the Troll was too strong and held the Cimmerian at the bottom of the river, starting to drown him. He was distracted by the lady, who actually was Red Sonja in disguise, enabling Conan to cut the Troll's head with a single slash. However, the Troll didn't die, though he couldn't continue the battle and his body was forced to run after his head was transported away by the river's flow.

The Troll transports his head

(Conan the Barbarian I#243 - BTS) - The Troll succeeded in retrieving his head.

(Conan the Barbarian I#243) - The Troll was evoked by Zukala through El-Ron's freshly slain body in Zukala Castle. The Troll and other demons were held back by Conan. When Zukala stopped talking through El-Ron, the four demons stood immobilized. Conan severed El-Ron's head, Zukala left the Earth, and the four demons remained still, as rigid as stone.

At first sight, Conan thought the Troll was a demon  from Arallu (Hell),which is not so improbable, since the El-Ron's ability in the evocation of demons.
