History:
(Marvel Comics Presents I#45/4) - Billy approached Shooting Star after another great shooting performance from her for a school class. He wasn't impressed and thought that a woman could never out shoot him, and he challenged her to a shooting contest. Shooting Star accepted the challenge when a girl asked her if Black Billy was right that girls aren't as good as boys. Billy was shooting all the bottles at a shooting stand when Shooting Star told him that she took up his challenge. Billy explained the rules and his pal Pablo threw a few quarters into the air. Billy wanted to go first, but Shooting Star hit all quarters and then disarmed Billy before he could shoot once. Billy was angered and with his gang he kidnapped the school class that was cheering for Shooting Star. The heroine had to come to the Old Ghost Town to get the kids back. She knew that it was a trap and disarmed Billy's gang very quickly. Then Billy opposed her, but he had the girl that made the challenge possible as a hostage. Shooting Star dropped her guns like Billy asked her to, but he still wanted to kill the little girl. Shooting Star took her spurs and threw them at Billy. Billy was disarmed and the situation was now under Shooting Star's control.
