"THE LAST"

Powers/Abilities: The Last were purple-skinned aliens with tiny tendrils lying over their mouths. They wielded primitive weapons such as swords and spears.
History: (Force Works#2 (fb, BTS))- At some point in the past, Century led the Scatter to an alien world, and the Scatter began feasting upon the native life-forms there, until only a few dozen remained, kept alive to serve as the Scatter's larder. They were also capable of speaking English (for reasons left unexplained).
(Force Works#2)- When the Scatter captured Spider-Woman, the Scarlet Witch and the U.S. Agent of Force Works, they brought them to the world of the Last until they needed them for food. The Last met with the three heroes, and explained to them how Century had come to their world, leading the Scatter to destroy them. Just then, their home was invaded by the Scatter, come to feed upon them. Although the three heroes were soon joined by Iron Man and Century, they were unable to save any of the Last, who all perished at the Scatter's hands, most of them infected by the Scatter's talons.
