ALEXIS PRIMO
<Some
of the stories are from MAX series, which are more violent and
sexually explicit; use discretion when viewing>
Real Name: Presumably Alexis Primo
Identity/Class: Human
Occupation: Professional assistant to Terror (she
pretty much does anything that needs to be done; see
abilities)
Group Membership: MTR Imports, Terror, Inc.
Affiliations: Assistant/virtual partner of Terror
(Shreck) and directly affiliated with Boneyard,
Brunnhilda and Rekrab;
at least temporary alliances with Luke
Cage (Carl Lucas), Hafifa, Hellfire
(Mikal Drakonmegas), Mahboobullah
Karzahellian,
Geoff Pfiffer, Silver Sable (Silver Sablinova), Mr. Weinstein, an unidentified prison pathologist;
various beings who hired Terror via her (including Bud "Buddy" Henry, Ray
"Piranha" Jones, David Meyer; a consortium of representative of
third world countries allied against Roger Barbatos; formerly Maximillian
Braniff, Roger Harper)
various unidentified...guests on her yacht;
indirectly Oliver "Ollie" and Suzie Henry;
Enemies: Aban, Death's Reign (including
Roger Harper), Priapus,
Talita (aka Angel de la Muerte, Death Angel), Zahhak (aka the Dragon
King), unidentified husband;
formerly Luke Cage (Carl Lucas), Silver Sable (Silver
Sablinova)
at least indirectly most people/being against whom
she acquired contracts for Terror (including Roger
Barbatos, Ray
"Piranha" Jones, Roy Montgomery);
indirectly Vita
"the
Headcutter" Buchetto, "Babyface"
Ann Reppucci, and "Cruella"
Cortese (set up for a frame by Piranha Jones via the contract on
his own life), Mr. Servido
Known Relatives: Unidentified husband (last name
possibly Primo; deceased)
Aliases: To those besides Terror, she is generally
known as "Ms. Primo" or "Mrs. Primo";
in his latter appearances, he exclusively called her
"Mrs. Primo"
Base of Operations: Various across the Unites
States of America, at least;
MTR Goods-and-Imports, downtown Los Angeles,
California;
unspecified safehouse in the vicinity of Los Angeles,
California;
at least formerly a yacht, via
which she traveled to along the America's East Coast, notably the waters
off Boston, Massachusetts; Manhattan, New York
First Appearance: Terror Inc. I#1 (July, 1992)
Powers/Abilities: Ms. Primo is skilled and experienced in many fields.
She managed Terror Inc. (which
was presumably DBA (Doing Business As) MTR Imports (I'd speculate MTR
was some abbreviation of "Mr. Terror"), both procuring clients
for Terror as well as financially managing the business and helping to
generate profit (she likely handled investments and other ways to build
finances). She managed the business' taxes, as well.
She is experienced at riding
motorcycles and bicycles, and at driving sportcars, All-Terrain Vehicles
(ATVs) and possibly piloting a helicopter. She can procure international
transportation for both herself and Terror.
She is capable of hiking through arid
and hot desert mountains, rappelling down caverns, and using bio-hazard
suits to function in a plague-infested region.
She also can procure various forms of
advanced weaponry, including automatic weapons and rocket launchers, at
least. She is also apparently experienced in using handguns and
automatic weapons.
She was willing and able to investigate
sources of information and/or concern, regardless of potential danger
involved. She could uncover information on secret government and/or
terrorist operations unknown to the public.
She can negotiate with and obtain the
cooperation of government officials, sometimes via encouraging
flirtation. She is willing to pay prison guards to perform illegal acts,
such as delivering her body parts from an executed criminal.
Ms. Primo is largely unflappable. Maintaining calm composure in hostile situations, she was prone to replying to shocking information, danger, etc. with a mere "Oh, my."
Further, she was not only accepting of Terror's macabre, organ- and body-harvesting/absorbing powers, but she frequently facilitated these abilities. While Boneyard was his go-to person for procuring specialized persons with certain abilities/histories, Alexis frequently procured and/or transported corpses in various conditions.
When necessary, Alexis demonstrated
both the intuition and the fortitude to stab Terror in the neck and even
to tie him down and crack open his chest and abdomen, eviscerate him and
tear his internal organs apart to help restore his mind when his was
subhumed by his host body's mind.
She was willing to sacrifice her own
life (and allow him to use her own body parts) if not only to save
Terror's life and/or restore his mind at least to grant him the physical
and mental power to stop a worldwide threat. However, she was also
willing to use a gun to defend herself from Terror when he had been
separated from Talita's arm and was being overwhelmed by his host body's
personalities.
She was also willing to incinerate his
diseased/incapacitated tissue and supply him with corpses to allow him
to regenerate.
While clearly bothered by the odor of
his decaying form, she had a genuine affection for Terror, putting a
friendly hand on his shoulders and crying when she thought he had been
destroyed.
But, would she sleep with him? Not on his life...
She apparently has a fetish for leather and has been known to be rather kinky and flirtacious with other men under some circumstances.
She enjoys fine wine and fine tea.
Particularly in her more recent
appearance, she liked to call everyone "Darling."
History:
|
(Terror Inc.#13) - At a restaurant in a small village in Mexico, which only opened once every 12 months, Terror annually met Alexis Primo for champagne and a dance to celebrate the one contract he never carried out. (Terror,
Inc II#1 (fb)
- BTS) - At
some point
(and likely on
multiple
occasions),
Terror told
Alexis of his
origins. (Terror Inc. I#3 (fb) - BTS)
- Alexis had a strange assortment of sleepover...friends...on
her yacht. (Terror Inc. I#1 (fb) - BTS) - A consortium of representatives of various third world countries who grew sick of Roger Barbaros supplying their enemies had Alexis hire Terror to slay Roger Barbatos. When she greeted Terror, she noted "Time is money," indicating the consortium's impatience for Barbatos' demise. (Terror Inc. I#1) - Aboard her yacht outside Manhattan, as Ms. Primo read a newspaper ("Daily" something), she encouraged Terror to think about all of the opportunities in that city, with its eight million people and eight million grudge matchers just waiting to fork over their money to someone willing to take care of twisting the knife. When Terror noted the heroes and the concentrated level of altruism there was not conducive the "grey areas" he frequented, Alexis started to suggest, "Well, if you change your mind..." and then she was distracted by the subject, wondering if he could literally change his brain, as he could replace other parts of his body. Though disgusted by watching him replacing his eye and ear with those of one of Barbatos' men, she was interested as Terror learned from this how Barbatos had made a deal with the demon Beelzeboul, gaining protection of his body from harm. She was impressed as he used an artist's hand to sketch the symbol used in Beelzeboul's pact, after which he told her that he now realized that he needed to break that contract. |
.
(Terror
Inc. I#1 - BTS) - From his associate Rekrab in Westminster,
London, Terror learned of Beelzeboul's son, Mikal Drakonmegas,
whom he might use to gain passage to Beelzeboul's realm. ![]() (Terror Inc. I#3 - BTS) - After Terror had enlisted the aid of Mikal Dragonmegas (whose demonic "darksoul" powers Terror had brought forth via the fangs of the Hellfire serpent), the two visted Alexis' yacht, off the coast of Boston, Massachusetts. With Darkonmegas having literally lost his shirt, Alexis offered him to re-outfit himself via her guest wardrobe. (Terror Inc. I#3) - Alexis asked about Terror telling "Hellfire" the rest of his life story, and when Terror noted that "Hellfire" was just a descriptive term rather than a nom de plume, Alexis countered that it was certainly easier on the lips than that "Drakon-tongue-twister!" She further questioned Terror going to all of this trouble, as favors didn't suit him, but Terror countered that he did not do favors but rather accumulated debts.. When Mikal appeared in his outfit and noted that Alexis had strange tastes in fashion, she explained that she had a strange assortment of sleepover...friends, and Mikal replied that that was more than he wanted to know. Replying, "About that, anyway. For now," she questioned if "Horror for Hire" didn't have things for him to discover. Terror ignored her mocking, and he departed with Mikal to dig up his mother's corpse. ![]() (Terror Inc. I#6 (fb) - BTS) - Alexis accepted a contract to murder Ray "Piranha" Jones via a dummy account from a contracteee who was willing to pay triple the price to guarantee anonymity. (Terror Inc. I#7 (fb) - BTS) - Jones had actually been the one to anonymously hire Terror to kill him, intending to frame Vita "the Headcutter" Buchetto, "Babyface" Ann Reppucci, and "Cruella" Cortese, who had initially defended him and helped him escape criminal charges but had then began making demands of him and launching their own brutal crime syndicate. (Terror Inc. I#6) - Aboard her yacht, Alexis met with Terror and Brunnhilda. Terror complained that accepting an anonymous job had left them ill-informed and that unforeseen complications had caused his job performance to suffer. She noted that when he suffered, they all suffered, which he considered appropriate. When Alexi pointed out how much the client had paid, Terror countered that they were in a better position to "put in an honest day's work for an honest day's exorbitant pay when we know the 'why' as well as the 'who.'" When Alexis asked Brunnhilda is she had anything in leather, Terror told her to cater to her intimate apparel later and to focus on giving him an opionion on the principals involved in this case. From information he had obtained at a library, she discussed how the criminal Jones had been cleared of any indictments in a grand jury hearing and that not long after, his former defenders -- Vita Buchetto, Ann Reppucci, and "Cruella" Cortese -- were being grilled for similar and worse. Terror considered that there may be more going on than a simple hit, and Alexis added that that may allow them to charge more. (Terror Inc. I#7 - BTS) - Terror discovered the truth about Jones and seemingly slew him. (Power Man and Iron Fist III#7 - BTS) - Piranha Jones turned up alive. |
(Terror Inc. I#8 - BTS) -
Preparing for his prison execution -- after being framed for
murder because he had stolen from his Maggia boss, Mr. Servido --
Bud "Buddy" Henry gave Terror the money he stole to give his
family one last Christmas with him.![]() (Terror Inc. I#8) - After Bud's execution, Alexis paid a prison morgue pathologist to cut off Budd's right hand, an eye and lips so Terror could use them for Bud's family. She had prison guard Weinstein obtain the parts from the pathologist and deliver them to her, but when he flirted -- commenting on how she straddled her motorcyle and offering her something harder to ride -- she reminded him for whom she worked, noting that he owed her a few freebies. Alexis subsequently met with Terror in a limousine, and he advised her to file this under "gift causa mortis" so that they could write it off for tax purposes. As Terror claimed (and placed some of) the body parts, he thanked Alexis, and she advised him that Mr. Henry's mob friends had revenge planned that could make his job a royal pain in the backside...whomever's backside it was that he was using. (Terror Inc. I#8 - BTS) - After taking out Mr. Servido and delivering on his promise to Bud Henry, providing comforting touches to his sleeping family, Terror left them with $150,000 of Bud's money. While he considered that Alexis would accuse him of catering to eleemosynary (charity), Terror planned to point out to her that he kept 70% and that the rest was to pay for the Chistmas cookie they had left out for Santa that he had eaten. |

Hired by
Maximillian
Braniff to
investigate
the
murder/assassination
of his alleged
daughter, "Kristin
Braniff,"
whose cadaver
had been
seized by
S.H.I.E.L.D.
for reasons of
"international
security,"
Terror
arranged for
Alexis to meet
him for
assistance. (Terror Inc.#9) - After Terror took down S.H.I.E.L.D. forces carrying Kristin's corpse, Ms. Primo -- arriving via some ATV with a trailer -- met him with the arm of a skilled lockpicker that gained him entrance into the vault containing the corpse. She then drove him to a chopper to airlift them to her yacht where she had arranged for the autopsy to take place. After she told him she had a problem with his driving, he advised her that many would hesitate to criticize him so openly, but she assured him that she was not worried as she knew he had a good heart..."I took an EKG of it before you put it in this afternoon." (see comments) On her yacht, Alexis delivered Terror the hand, nose and something else (it doesn't look like an eye, although that would be logical) from a medical examiner to perform an autopsy on Kristin. (Terror Inc.#9 (fb) - BTS) - Terror determined that the girl had died as a result of multiple stab wounds inflicted with at least a pair of tri-bladed weapon, which he suspected to be Wolverine's claws. (Terror Inc.#9) - Terror and Ms. Primo Primo met with Maximillian Branoff. After she had confirmed that Braniff had brought all of the promised money, Ms. Primo encouraged Terror to fulfil his promise of bringing Kristin's killer to justice despite his reservations. (Terror Inc.#9 - BTS) - Primo subsequently directed Terror to meet with Boneyard, who supplied him with the arm that possessed claws like Wolverine, which Terror used to engage Wolverine. Allowing Wolverine to slash his chest with his claws, Terror realized that the spacing between Wolverine's claws did not match those of Kristin's wounds. During the battle, Terror stole some sort of semi truck cab, and he considered that Ms. Primo would not approve of his getting behind the wheel. ![]() . (Terror Inc.#10) - Accompanied by her seamstress associate, Brunnhilda, Ms. Primo investigated Max Braniff's apparent residence, which turned out to be a warehouse that was empty beyond the corpse of Kristin Braniff, still in the container in which Terror had delivered her to Max. Alexis contacted Terror and informed him, "We've got a problem..." (Terror Inc.#10 - BTS) - Explaining the apparent frame, Terror convinced Wolverine to join his efforts to uncover the truth. They did this by confronting Braniff who committed suicide after revealing his motivations. |
(Terror

- As Terror
sought to
recover the
artifact known
as Vatsayana's
Tryst (of
which he had
already
obtained one
part), he met
with Ms. Primo
on her yacht
in the
Mediterranean
Sea,
instructing
her to credit
Rekrab a bonus
for is
information on
the artifact
but to also
dock him a
month for not
knowing about
the other two
parts of the
Tryst. He further instructed Alexis to search the databases for others of a similar mercenary bent who may be after the artifact. She questioned why he didn't just ask Brother Randi (who had recruited Hellfire to employ Terror), but Terror noted that Randi had died and been cremated, and that he could gain much from ashes beyond a rash. When Alexis asked how he could even tell, an annoyed Terror told her to just type. ![]() (Terror Inc.#11 (fb) - BTS) - From Alexis, Terror learned that Luke Cage and Silver Sable had also been employed to gather the artifacts. (Terror Inc.#11 - BTS) - Terror ambushed Cage and obtained his artifact and then ambushed Sable as well. (Terror Inc.#12) - After Terror, Cage & Sable had joined forces against Priapus, Alexis joined them, Boneyard and Rekrab aboard a private jet paid for (or owned by) Terror. Alexis approached Cage, telling him that she liked a man with muscles, and that she also liked to cover them with dessert toppings. When Cage tried to ease her off, starting with "Listen, Ms. Primo..." she interrupted with, "Alexis! Though you can call me anytime." Terror interrupted, noting he had been calling her for "anytime" for the last 5 minutes and asking if she would like to borrow an ear. While Alexis angrily told him that she would tell him where to shove his ear, if it even were his ear, Cage, happy for the reprieve, quietly told Terror that he may start to like him. Noting that Boneyard had earned her fee, Terror asked Alexis about more traditional arms, and she produced an automatic weapon. Cage told her that their target was big, and she coyly replied, "And you would know, hmm, Luke? Yum-yum!" Nonetheless, she produced something more like a rocket launcher and tossed it to Terror, who approved, noting that with Priapus, there was only one strategem: "Negotiation. By way of large caliber." |
(Terror Inc.#13) - Terror and Alexis had their annual meeting for champagne and a dance. He toasted Alexis as the business manager responsible for his wealth. When he noted how he had recently been feeling the pain of having lost his love so many centuries ago, Alexis reminded him of the one contract he had never carried out and told him she forgave him for that. They then shared a dance. |
|
(Terror,
Inc
II#1) - At a
bar in Los
Angeles,
Terror
recounted his
origins to
Alexis. She
told him that
that was the
most romantic
story she had
ever heard,
but when he
asked if she
would sleep
with him, she
also reminded
him that he
had told it to
her before,
with
significantly
different
numbers of
those
attacking him
and Talita.
Regardless,
she suggested
he get some
sleep, as
tomorrow he
had the first
big meeting in
six months and
that Terror
Incorporated
had bills to
pay. As they departed, she reminded him of the details, that the client was Roger Harper, who worked for Homeland Security (Terror, Inc II#1 - BTS) - Harper told Terror of the mission to kill Roy Montgomery, Homeland Security's top man and director before he could meet with the Death's Reign terrorist organization. (Terror,
Inc
II#2 (fb) -
BTS) - Neither
Mrs. Primo nor
Terror were
aware that
Harper
secretly
worked for
Mother, which
was actually
the Death's
Reign
organization,
which was
under the
control of
Talita,
Terror's
former lover. (Terror,
Inc
II#1) - Alexis
subsequently
met with
Terror in
Beverly
Wilshire
Hotel, but she
refused to
head home at
his
recommendation,
as she
considered
things too
thrilling. She was present when Terror was crippled by an explosion. |
.
|
(Terror, Inc II#2 - BTS) - Despite having been dissolved by acid and dumped into the sewage treatment plant, Terror took over a series of animals before possessing the abusive Craig. (Terror,
Inc
II#2) - At her
offices in the
MTR
Goods-and-Imports
in downtown
Los Angeles,
Mrs. Primo
wept over her
picture of
herself and
Terror
dancing,
Terror entered
and announced
his survival.
When she
rushed over
and hugged
him, and asked
if she would
sleep with
him, but she
told him "Not
on your life."
After
detailing his
recovering and
relating that
his having
lost Talita's
arm made his
curse/power
harder to
control and
would soon be
fatal, he
demonstrated
this by
briefly losing
his mind to
Craig's. When
he grabbed and
threatened
her, she
quietly pulled
her handgun
out of her
purse while
saying, "Darling,
please..."
Nonetheless,
Alexis
resolved that
they would use
Boneyard to
arrange for
some fresh
body parts to
keep him going
as a
temporarly
measure. As
she called,
however,
Terror led her
to flee as a
Death Reign
helicopter
approached
their window
and began
firing at
them. They
used an escape
hatch to reach
her car. En
route, he told
her that
Talita was the
only good part
about him;
when she asked
about his own
soul, he told
her that the
last time he
had followed
his own soul,
he had raped
16 women,
burned down a
Goth village
and butchered
140 men, women
and children.
When they arrived at Boneyard's place, she helped his weakened form out of the car. He told her to go, but she advised him that he was a mess without her. (Terror,
Inc
II#2 - BTS) -
Terror found
Boneyard dead,
and he used
his powers to
learn who had
killed her
seconds before
they fired a
rocket to blow
up the
building. (Terror,
Inc
II#3) - As
Terror slew
his attackers,
Ms. Primo fled
in her car.
Realizing she
was being
followed, she
briefly
ditched them
and fled into
an area
inhabited by a
group of
apparent drug
addicts. (Terror,
Inc
II#3 - BTS) -
Alexis
abandoned her
car to the
group and
allowed them
to lead her
pursuers away
while she
escaped on
bicycle.
Stopping off
at "the
archives," she
acquired a
large amount
of information
on Death's
Reign. (Terror, Inc II#3) - Ms. Primo reached their safehouse to find Terror waiting for her. She shared what she had learned about Death's Reign, including their leader, Angel de la Muerte, aka Death Angel, who was trapped in an iron lung. The two surmised that she had Talita's arm and sought to kill Terror to usurp his curse/power and form a new body. After Terror noted that he could survive about another day without Talita's arm, she accompanied him as he used one of Death's Reign's agents' hands to lead them to Death Angel's base in East Los Angeles. After they arrived, he sent her back to the safehouse, assuring her that he had brought plenty of back-up parts from the Death's Reign agents he had slain to keep him supplied with fresh body parts. (Terror, Inc II#3 - BTS) - Terror fought his way to Death Angel, only to learn that she was Talita before her machines dug into him and drained his power into her. |
|
(Terror,
Inc
II#4) - After
Talita had had
her arm
re-attached,
she had Ms.
Primo brought
to her, and
Alexis
apologized to
Terror, noting
that she had
gotten lost.
As Talita
noted that
Terror loved
Ms. Primo and
that he might
love her again
after she
ravaged the
Primo's body
for spare
parts, Alexis
told Talita
that it might
do her some
good and
further stated
that she had
heard plenty
about Talita
but that it
seemed that
none of it was
true.
However,
having been
bonded to
Talita's arm
for some 800
years, much
longer than
Talita had
possessed it
during her
lifetime,
Terror
re-established
control over
the arm and
forced Talita
to assault her
agents; Alexis
mockingly
noted that
rudeness to
the help was
the first sign
of classless
behavior. She
fled in the
subsequent
chaos, during
which they
severed the
arm from
Talita and
incapacitated
Terror.
Stripping
off her gown,
Alexis posed
as an
unconscious or
sleeping woman
at an orgy
(designed to
facilitate the
cooperation of
those who
would
sacrifice
themselves for
the cause),
where she
heard Roger
Harper discuss
Death's
Reign's
further
terrorist/nihilic
plans. She was
disturbed when
she regained
her Chanel
gown, only to
find that one
of them men
had vomited
all over it.
She
subsequently
discovered
Terror's head
kept in a cage
and, while
posing as a
Death's Reign
agent, opened
the cage,
letting him
out and
allowing him
to take over
Harper's body.
After leading
Alexis to the
exit, Terror,
influenced by
Harper's mind,
still sought
to aid Talita
despite
knowing they
plotted to
kill billions.
She stabbed
Harper's body
and ran
outside while
the pain
helped
Terror's mind
regained
dominance. The
scantily-dressed
Ms. Primo was
oggled by
Death's Reign
agents, but
they all
backed off
when Terror
(in Harper's
body) revealed
their plans
for a massive
orgy that
night before
the next day's
massive
slaughters. |
|
(Terror,
Inc
II#5) - As
Death's Reign
forces blew up
a power source
and all power
went out on
that section
of the city,
Primo's
torture
finally
submerged
Harper's mind,
and Terror
regained
control of his
form, although
he remained
unable to
retake control
of Talita's
arm.
When Terror
insisted that
he was too
weak, Alexis
said she would
be his rock
and raised a
blade to her
neck. (Terror,
Inc
II#5 (fb) -
BTS) - Ms.
Primo sliced
her throat,
intending for
Terror to use
her fresh body
parts and her
persona (which
was not loyal
to
Talita/Death's
Reign).
However, the
sight of this
was enough
sacrifice to
allow Terror
to regain his
will and
control of his
body. (Terror, Inc II#5 (fb) - BTS) - Terror rebuilt his body with Death's Reign corpses that Alexis had brought to him. He apparently brought her to a hospital, where she was stabilized. (Terror,
Inc
II#5 - BTS) -
Terror's
long-term
possession of
Talita's arm
ultimately
caused it to
regenerate
him when an
explosion
destroyed both
of their
forms. (Terror,
Inc
II#5) - Terror
visited the
recovered Ms.
Primo,
delivering her
roses.
When she noted
that she had
not expected
for him to see
her again, he
explained that
the image of
her sticking
the knife into
her throat was
more than
enough
sacrifice to
pull her
through, and
that he did
not need to
take her
parts.
Speaking
uncharacteristically
(and
hoarsely), she
asked, "Did
you get the
bitch?"
and Terror
assured her
that all that
remained of
Talita was her
arm. Noting that she had been willing to give up quite a lot for his sake, Terror asked if she was ready to sleep with him, and she replied, "While you're attached to another woman? Not on your life." |

listening to
Terror's tale
of his

Cordoba, Spain
circa 1348
A.D., she
hoped that he
had found the
Duque and tore
his scrotum
off. Briefly mentioning that it took him four years and into the land of the Dragon King, Terror appreciated the time and his mission to to kill terrorists for his Israeli employers. She reminded him that the mission was for him to recover a sample of the virus in the bag provided and to then incinerate the lab with the device provided by the Israelis. (Terror Inc - Apocalypse Soon#1 - BTS) - Afflicted by the virus, Terror recovered a sample and slaughtered many of the workers present and found hundreds of corpses. Finding a youth named Aban trapped in a plastic chamber, Terror freed him before blowing up the facility. (Terror Inc - Apocalypse Soon#1) - Waiting at their planned dinner date restaurant, Alexis received a call from Terror, who told her he had one thing to take care of and then he would join her for "steak, story and hot tub til dawn." (Terror Inc - Apocalypse Soon#1 - BTS) - After taking Aban to an ER, Terror realized too late that the youth was spreading the virus as he was infected and those around him swiftly died. |

(Terror Inc - Apocalypse Soon#2 (fb) - BTS) - Aban was abducted by a group believed to be part of an Afghan-based Mujahideen (Terror

Pressuring
(U.S.?) Agent
Geoff Pfiffer
to let her see
Terror, Mrs.
Primo
apparently
also paid
other agents
to bring body
bags to
replace
Terror's
infected
parts. She was
disappointed
in the five
cadavers, but
she was told
that the
hospital was
closed and
they had to
raid the

Considering
that Terror
was going to
be unhappy and
that perhaps
the zoo would

used matches
and a gas can
to burn the

leave only
Talita's arm
in its armored
containment,
after which
she instructed
the agents to
bring in the
"slim
pickings." (Terror Inc - Apocalypse Soon#2) - The re-formed Terror complained about the small size of his new body, and Mrs. Primo apologized, noting the shortage but suggested the positive that he neither killed nor infected anyone during his shooting rampage. Pfiffer informed them that Meyer and the Israelis had denied everything as well as sealing the borders and shutting down all flights and that they needed "Kid A" (Aban, whom they reasoned had been taken somewhere in Afghanistan) to try to figure out a cure. Pfiffer gave them papers to get them across the border and a watch with a GPS that they could use to summon him and his people once they had found Aban. As they drove to the Syrian border, Terror told her first that his being infected had made him realize that the current plague was the same as the black plague that had ravaged Europe back during his encounter with the Duque, which led him to tell her of his encounter with the the Dragon King, Zahhak, who had cured the Duque for a price before Terror had captured and imprisoned his immortal form in a cave. After he told her that he had eventually ripped off the Duque's scrotum and left him to bleed out, she replied, "Bravo." Before traveling to the location in which he
left Zahhak (with the goal of recovering the cure), they stopped
in Tel Aviv and confronted David Meyer, who revealed that they had
learned how the Mujahideen had found Aban in a cave in
Afghanistan's mountain and that he had failed to relate that the
virus was a teenager. After Alexis instructed Meyer to take them
to the cave where they had found the boy, Meyer -- blaming himself
for what he thought would be the end of the world -- fatally shot
himself through the head. Mrs. Primo expressed her disappointment in Terror's having missed this second gun, but Terror noted that Meyer still had two legs he could use. (Terror
Inc
- Apocalypse
Soon#3) - Mrs.
Primo urged
Terror to keep
going, as,
although
Meyer's legs
knew where to
go, they were
not built for
climbing up
and down
mountain in
the desert.
When they
finally
pitched a
tent, she told
him that she
could not get
into the tent
with him due
to his rotting
odor, but they
both ended up
laughing when
he noted that
he did alright
before they
invented
roll-on
deodorant.
When Mrs. Primo
considered
that
the boy she
had met in
Istanbul was
probably sick
now, she and
Terror
continued
their search,
eventually
coming upon a
town full of
corpses, shot
through the
head by
unrevealed
parties. When
she smelled an
overpowering
odor, they
found a
massive pile
of similarly
shot corpses
in a nearby
mountain cave.
When a pair of
Arabian men
fired at them,
Terror
overpowered
them and then
made a loose
alliance with
their leader,
Mahboobullah
Karzahellian,
who revealed
that after
they had found
Aban they had
tried
fruitlessly to
kill him.
Mahboobullah
further
revealed that
after Aban's
release,
Mahboobullah's
brother had
taken Aban to
Istanbul where
a Frenchman
was supposed
to be able to
destroy the
virus and or
the youth.
And, they had
subsequently
attempted to
bring the
youth back to
where they had
found him and
blow the place
up; however,
his greater
power had
allowed him to
infect and
kill his
captors
despite the
quarantine
box.
With
Aban's
location
unknown to
them, Terror
told
Mahboobullah
about Zahhak,
who had
previously
cured such a
plague, and
who was
trapped in a
cave in the
Zagros range,
just over the
Iraq border,
and Mahboobullah
agreed to take
them there in
the hope of
saving the
rest of his
family.
Two days
later, Mahboobullah's
men's
jeeps (with
Alex and
Terror's
driven by
Hafifa)
brought the
group to
Esfahan, where
they were
fired upon by
the local
military,
ultimately
escaping,
although Mahboobullah's
other jeep and
passengers
were blown up.
Four days
later, while
Mrs. Primo
slept alone in
her tent, Mahboobullah
advised
Terror that
they would
reach their
location the
next day but
that he was
lucky to have
found a woman
who would
tolerate him
and his
ever-increasing
odor. Terror
replied that
she tolerated
a lot more
than that. Seven hours later, Alexis told Terror that he was lost, but Terror assured her that he didn't want just anyone finding Zahhak, and they soon after found the location. Within it were VX nerve gas cannisters, believed to be Saddam Hussein's long-hidden/lost weapons of mass destruction. Although Mahboobullah's men briefly held Alexis and Terror at gunpoint and planned to claim the gas, Terror convinced them to continue on to find the man who might cure his sons. They ultimately found Zahhak still in chains, and when he called Terror "Ferrydun," Terror had to explain to Mrs. Primo that it was an alias he had used. Zahhak told Terror to bring "the virgin" over to him (intending for his serpents to feed on her brain), but Terror advised him that she was no virgin; Zahhak then agreed, noting that she smelled like a spoiled goat. Mrs. Primo did not appreciate either comment. (Terror
Inc
- Apocalypse
Soon#4 (fb) -
BTS) - Wishing
to be able to
let Zahhak
lead them to
his cure,
Terror put the
transponder
from Pfiffer's
GPS watch in
his own head,
figuring that
Zahhak's
serpents would
devour his
skull. Mrs.
Primo brought
a new head
(gathered from
the
corpses in the
cave in
Afghanistancontained
within a bag)
to replace the
one Terror
would lose,
and she had
Hafifa keep
the bag in his
jeep. (Terror Inc - Apocalypse Soon#3) - Terror offered Zahhak freedom from his mystic bonds and the promise of a truce for one day, during which time Zahhak revealed that Aban was his son. However, after Terror had released him, Zahhak had his serpents feed on Terror's brain. (Terror
Inc
- Apocalypse
Soon#4 (fb) -
BTS) - At some
point, Mrs.
Primo sent
Hafifa back up
to his jeep
for her bag. (Terror
Inc
- Apocalypse
Soon#4) - As
Zahhak's
serpents tore
Terror into
pieces, Mrs.
Primo led Mahboobullah
and
his men back
up to the
surface,
assuring him
this was all
part of the
plan. He
called her a
madwoman, and
she suggested
he not be so
dramatic. As
they fled,
Zahhak's
serpents tore
apart Mahboobullah's
men,
and then
Terror's body,
mindlessly
trying to
reform itself,
also appeared
to threaten
them with its
writhing
tentacles.
Zahhak tried
to delay or
destroy Terror
via the VX
nerve gas to
prevent his
mindless form
from harming
them. After Hafifa arrived, Mrs. Primo threw the head from her bag down the cave. (Terror
Inc
- Apocalypse
Soon#4 (fb) -
BTS) -
Attaching that
head to his
form, Terror
was able to
regain his
intelligence.
(Terror Inc - Apocalypse Soon#4) - Mrs. Primo, Mahboobullah and Hafifa were then confronted at gunpoint by Agent Pfiffer (who had been following the GPS signal and whose other agents had been decapitated by Zahhak), who noted Mahboobullah to be a wanted man. Alexis updated him with the current situation, and when he became distraught at the mention of VX, she advised him to catch up or go with the flow. The re-formed Terror, twitchy from the nerve gas, then exited the cave, and they all headed out after Zahhak.

Comments: Created by D.G. Chichester and Jorge Zaffino.
If Ms. Primo did an EKG on the heart
before Terror put it in, it must have been in a still-living being...I
guess we'll assume it was a bad person who deserved it...
When Terror and Alexis were shown dancing in the black and white image, it seemed as if it might represent a flashback to an earlier time, perhaps the first time they danced after he had spared her...which may have been multiple decades before. She did look younger, but she also looked younger in the panels before (like she was in her 30's, as opposed to looking more like she was in her 60's in other issues). It was also a different artist...
Alexis was much different in the series by David
Lapham than those by D.G. Chichester. The original version seemed to be a
highly-sexed and kinky (although her appearance markedly varied, in some
cases looking younger and more attractive; in others she looked more like
a middle-aged to older woman). However, the Lapham issues version (despite
some mild variation between the artists) looked to be early 30's or
younger, very attactrive, more proper and less flirty; the latter version
clearly loved Terror, but as a friend, and she constantly rebuffed his
romantic advances (which he did not do in the Chichester issues).
I wonder if she was indeed an older woman who was
magically de-aged at some point.
Regardless, she was a much more enjoyable character in
the MAX/Lapham series.
In the original Terror series, he called her Alexis a
lot, but he also called her Ms. Primo, and when she specifically
introduced herself to a stranger, it was specifically "Ms. Primo."
In the MAX/Lapham issues, Terror and other consistently
called her "Mrs. Primo."
Presumably Primo was her married name, which she kept
even after she was widowed by Terror, and at some point, she chose to be
called Mrs. rather than Ms....
Mahboobullah sounds like "My Bubbalah" to me, with "Bubbalah" (bubbale) being a Yiddish word meaning sweetie or darling.
