Powers/Abilities: Agent Morales carried various sophisticated devices supplied by S.H.I.E.L.D., such as a spectral wave scanner used to analyze crime scenes, a taser loaded with a sample of the "M.O.D.O.K. virus" and a submersible vehicle. Her personal arsenal included a handgun. She was trained in scuba diving.

History: (Captain America & the Falcon I#13 (fb) - BTS) - Alisande "Ali" Morales was in college when Colonel Nick Fury recruited her to become an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

(Captain America & the Falcon I#1) - S.H.I.E.L.D. sent Agent Morales undercover to Cuba. Posing as a Cuban civilian, Morales monitored the so-called "Anti-Cap," an agent of the US Navy Seals. Morales contrived to kiss him so that she could obtain a DNA sample.

(Captain America & the Falcon I#2) - In Cuba, Captain America sought out Agent Morales. She shared what little she knew about the man impersonating him and told him S.H.I.E.L.D. was calling him "Anti-Cap." She told Captain America that at that time the Falcon was attempting to rescue his former lover Leila Taylor from Cuba but that the Anti-Cap was after her because she had viral sample he was interested in.

(Captain America & the Falcon I#3) - Captain America and Morales went to the former headquarters of the Rivas brothers, which had been raided by the Anti-Cap and Falcon. Falcon had left behind his pet Redwing. Captain America found a sample of the virus Leila had discovered, which the Falcon had hidden for him. The Avengers analyzed the sample but could reach no definite conclusions about it.

(Captain America & the Falcon I#4) - Morales and Captain America caught up to the Falcon in Miami, with the Anti-Cap still a step ahead of them. As Captain America and Morales looked for the Anti-Cap, he suddenly burst through a wall next to them. Morales fired her gun at him, prompting him to quip "What? No kiss?" before throwing her off a building. Morales was rushed to a hospital by the Falcon but her condition was precarious.

(Captain America & the Falcon I#9) - After some time spent recuperating (during which Nick Fury took care of her pet dog), Morales was ready to return to the field and went on an undercover assignment alongside Steve Rogers at the Manhattan Yacht Club so they could monitor the drug lord Damocles Rivas and Anti-Cap's superior Jimmy Westbrook. The party was broken up by the Falcon and in the confusion, Morales slipped away and activated a submarine craft with which she ferried Steve into the underwater entrance to Rivas' Montclair, New Jersey base.

(Captain America & the Falcon I#10) - Morales monitored Steve from inside her vehicle, during which Steve discovered Damocles had attempted to take control of his old enemy M.O.D.O.K. but instead M.O.D.O.K. had taken control of Rivas and become more powerful than before. When Morales offered to bring him his Captain America costume, Steve refused and told her to remain in the vehicle. Having heard of Steve's girlfriend Sharon Carter, Morales wondered aloud "You treat her like a Barbie, too--?"

(Captain America & the Falcon I#11) - After M.O.D.O.K. sank Westbrook's yacht, Captain America and Morales examined the wreckage. They were attacked by some of Westbrook's men who mistook Captain America for the Anti-Cap but he reassured them of his identity by removing his mask (Anti-Cap having black hair). Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. moved in to examine Rivas' base and determine the extent of M.O.D.O.K.'s power, as Rivas had made him so powerful he could teleport around the world as pure data. Morales helped question Rivas' niece Amari in Spanish, assuring her that they were trying to save her uncle from M.O.D.O.K. With Amari's help, they contacted M.O.D.O.K. and attempted to reason with Damocles to no avail. When Morales threatened Amari, M.O.D.O.K. responded by teleporting to her location to attack her and Captain America. When Amari tried to stop M.O.D.O.K., she was accidentally killed. Captain America followed M.O.D.O.K. as he teleported away, following him to Singapore. 

(Captain America & the Falcon I#12) - Morales was joined at Rivas' base by the Falcon and the two looked for a way to force M.O.D.O.K. to teleport back to the base. The two began to banter as Falcon advised Morales that she was "wasting her time" trying to get Steve's attention. During a break in the action, the two began making out then had sex. When the problem of M.O.D.O.K. surged up again, Morales spoke with Henry Pym and Reed Richards to arrange a means to teleport M.O.D.O.K. back to Rivas' base and contain him. As Captain America mused that he didn't know what to do about the Falcon's recent personality shift, Morales responded, bemused, "I do..."

(Captain America & the Falcon I#13) - Morales was now staying with Sam Wilson at his apartment in Harlem. The two were now in a relationship, although Sam suggested that Morales was truly interested in Steve and was only with Sam as a way of getting access to Steve.

(Captain America & the Falcon I#14) - When Steve Rogers revived from a near-death experience, Morales conferred with him to inform him that the Falcon had released Anti-Cap in an effort to turn him into an ally but Anti-Cap had killed the entire royal family of the nation Baud Olan. Morales and Captain America went to the Wakandan Consulate, from which Falcon had released Anti-Cap. Omoro agreed to help Morales and Captain America find the Falcon by sharing a transponder code which linked to the Falcon's artificial wings. Using a S.H.I.E.L.D. satellite, Morales searched for Falcon's location. The code led them to Baud Olan itself and they disguised themselves as a pair of men so that they could move freely, only for the transponder to lead them to a goat. Jimmy Westbrook then confronted the pair and informed them that Falcon and Anti-Cap were both missing.

    She was named after Alisande Morales, a DC Comics editor who served as assistant editor to Christopher Priest when he was writing The Ray.

    The Captain America & the Falcon series ended with issue #14 on an ambiguous note with Captain America unsure whether the Falcon was dead or alive. Priest had been offered a Falcon solo book but he ultimately passed on the project; if he had gone ahead with it, we would've surely learned how Falcon survived his fight with Anti-Cap and we probably would have seen more of Morales. As it is, the next time Falcon appeared he was just...okay. That's comics for ya, kiddies.
